I remember watching this episode of Emmett Cohen's show thinking "Man, that trumpet solo on was burning!" Thanks for transcribing! Benny Barnack was on fire on this take!

The written changes are incorrect for the solos and are not what these guys are playing. It is one of those tunes that have one set of changes for the melody and other chords for the solos. I love this tune and have recorded it.

I definitely hear some “Sweets” Edison in this solo. Not any specific riffs necessarily, more so that sense of taking one’s time and using bluesy repetition and vocal effects to really tell a story.
