Thank you for a great video. I asked this question on another channel where the video is much older: I'm putting the same windshield on my 2007 Wing. Do you remember if it matters how tight you make the screws holding the windshield to the slide brackets? I'm afraid that I've made mine too tight and therefore when I button it up it will be hard to slide it up & down like I did easily with my last windshield.

Nice instructional video. thanks. Might suggest using a plastic spudger around the boots when needed so as to minimize a possible scratches. Also if you magnetize your tool end, this will assist in not dropping a nut/bolt into no-mans land. Also perhaps turn the music volume down some.... but thank you!

Thanks Harry, great video. One question. Before you start, what is the best position for the windshield to be, all the way down or all the way up? I will be recieving my windshield replacement today and I am planning to do it on the weeked.

I have the same bike. My windshield is scratched and dirty. I have tried different compounds, but it still looks dingy. Any suggestions on what type of compound or polish to use, any particular type of buffing pad? Thanks for a great video.

Ok if you are comfortable doing cheapo bodge repairs on your bike. I would rather replace leaking seals and have the forks correctly serviced every few years by a professional workshop. Doing stuff like this on a Goldwing (correction - any bike ... ) is crazy unless its a "get you home" thing.....

You do NOT put another other than soap and water on a tire bud. Not a great idea putting anything slippery on a motorcycle tire.

I can see why the GWRRA and the GWTA quit they do not know how to keep the rides going... Take notes from across the ocean in the UK and Europe. I watched the most boringness parade in Knoxville, TN in 2022 all the bikes did was park in the middle of the lane I can already see they had no blockers for this ride to park in the roads to block traffic. I used my ADv Tent this year. 8 weeks on the road. I left a very detailed review about this tent. In summary, tent is great, but the pegs are made from cheese. Im glad others are now highlighting this, as its just not good enough. Also, dont believe the dry bag it comes in is waterproof. If you put the tent away wet, it will leak out into all your other stuff !

I'm sure you're right about that mini door within a door being primarily designed for reaching out to retrieve things without having to completely open the door. But I bet it would also work well as a pet door for up to medium sized dogs who need to answer the call of nature at night.

I really enjoyed your instruction. Close up and no missing steps on the editing like some others. When I watch an institution video I want to see every screw turn. Not see the beginning and bang the part in the next shot is off. ( how did it come off. Was there any bending, twisting or what ever. I want to see the entire process. So thank you so very much.

Hi Harry. Can you give me some advice? I have a bike that sat in someone's garage for years with a gas drip. The gas has accumulated , pooled and then dried on the engine case under the carburetor. This caused yellowing of the aluminum which I cant seem to get out. What would you do for this. Thanks.

I like the small zippered back-door pass-thru for a gas hose (subzero nights) for heat!

Hey Harry great video and thank you for sharing, how do you like the 2007? Do you ever have any major problems with it, I’m about to get a 2007 is there anything I should look for before dropping the money, for what I read about it and looking into some videos they seems pretty reliable.
