Old Crow Family Movies (Full Length No Sound)
I found two VHS tapes in a box when packing Mom and Dad's house up in Belton, Texas (David and Annette). They were both labeled in Dad's handwriting as "Old Family Movies" so I sent them off to a video conversion company and got two videos back. This video is the combination of the two tapes. I don't know if they are in the correct order of the year they were filmed or not. It looks like at least two Christmas gatherings in the mid 60s and there is a lot of footage of Grandmother, Granddaddy, David, Carol, Diane and all the kiddos. Kim was easy to spot and got plenty of camera time :) and I think I recognize Chris as a baby in here at one Christmas get together but not sure if I am in her...

For Kim... The Best Sister Ever :) Old Crow Family videos filmed mostly by Granddaddy Crow (Doc) with an 8mm camera in the mid 1960s. I found these old movies on an old VHS tape when packing up Mom and Dad's house in Belton and had it converted. It looks like footage from at least two Christmas gatherings at Doc and BoBo's house in Carrollton, Georgia. I edited this video down of just footage s...

My 2001 Jeep Cherokee started ticking or knocking when I started it cold, but it would eventually go away. I researched possible causes and solutions and this worked for me. Worth a try if your car is doing the same thing. Trying Engine Restore for the first time. It worked for me. Good luck whatever you end up using and leave a comment if you found something better or this worked for you.

    Nope that’s piston slap. It goes away when the engine is warm because the aluminum expands within the cylinder wall and closes that clearance gap

    All this additive stuff is what causes problems in the first place ! It don’t fix anything it just covers a problem while it gets worse !! Engine additives!! Block boassages over time then the engine struggles to move oil through b then it wears on the pump ! When u have a problem just fix it ! The rockers in the 2.5 and 4.0 wear as they are fixed and seated with no lash adjustment!! Just replace em with new rockers and rocker shims n ur good to go

    Supposedly it's also a hyper-lubricant, my guess its that it freed up some lifters.

    A lifter tick on startup that goes away after a few seconds or minutes is most likely caused by a lifter with internal wear that allows the trapped oil to run out while the engine is stopped. The engine restorer will help seal the internal sliding bodies and could last for several hundred miles but will eventually have to be retreated. Not bad, just not a permeate fix.

    Hey everyone i just wanted to share this with you all !! I talked to the manufactures of this product directly and they told me do NOT use this if your vehicle has VVT Valve Timing system in it. It will clog everything up and it wont be good! So make sure you check that first before you use this product! If it doesnt have a VVT system your good. Other systems like Hydraulic valve lifters and stainless steal shims are ok. According to Scotty Kilmer. So yeah, hope that helps! Your manufacturer of your vehicle can help you if you give them your VIN number. They can tell you for sure if it has VVT . CHeers!

    You need more Zddp in your oil. That's your cam lobe wearing out! Valve's and lifters sticking. Flush your engine. Start using valvoline racing oil, Rotella T4, or other oil with zddp higher than 1200 ppm. Good luck. I have 2 Jeep Cherokee's with over 300 thousand miles. A 94' and a 95'. Both run like tops, without any ticks! I change my oil every 3000 miles. I use Rotella T4 10w-30, as per my owner's manual. They don't recommend Rotella! However, the proof is in my pudding! When I change my valve cover gaskets, the inside is spotless, with no sludge, and no varnish. That build up is what's causing your problems, probably! 👍🇺🇸😉

      I use Rotella 10/30 in my 4.0 also. Put valve cover gasket on when I pulled it no sludge whatsoever. Also I change oil at 3000 miles religiously. I think that’s the biggest reason my engine stays so clean.

    Engine restore is good stuff, but another fix I have used many times for valve train ticks is Marvel's Mystery Oil. Marvel's has many detergents that can help liquefy sludge, so that it can be drained next oil change. Whatever works for you, do that. I have heard trans fluid can be used similarly to Marvel's as it has many detergent additives.

    @automotiveperformancemobil4030 3 года назад

    Ok for the new agers here, as a formerly licensed, 20 year automotive diagnoses and technician in the field let's clear this air and separate the clouds ... the problem is not "fixed", it's HIDDEN ... just hushing up the inevitable. The problem still lies that you still have a problem that the restore product has quieted down. It's not "gone" at all, it's waiting for the perfect time to strike. It's not "lasting", it's still delaying what you cannot avoid and it's also making the problem worse except this time you can't hear it. Do it right the first time, FIX the problem itself, notice the knock starts and goes to hiding again... Problem is still there period and this is NOT a solution. "Ticking or knocking" is unacknowledged of the actual problem so let's just hide the whole problem at hand? ... not the way to take care of a motor. This problem can be fixed in your driveway for the same price as you would pay for that engine restore if it's up top and much less ($8.00 to _FIX_ the culprit minus new oil and filter). DIAGNOSE the issue and fix it, not guess and throw liquid bandages over the problem.
