A great biking route in the Pyrenees. Two-up on a 1998 Honda Blackbird with full luggage. Possibly the most enjoyable 12 minutes in 35 years of riding motorcycles. This road deserved a video of its own. Check out the two videos of the whole trip. Part 1 is Bristol to Barcelona (Girona) with another rider and Part 2 (including this road) from Girona to Santander with Mrs B! Part 1 - ruclips.net/...

I've recently bought this from eBay. It's quite a rare machine. I will be restoring it over the coming months. Let me know if you have any Yamaha IT parts or any other old Japanese bikes or bits.

Anyone attempt 'Hellish Tight'?
Your ad says you are looking for parts
Do you have any?
@@jaz167 Lots, panels, engine or parts, new pistons exc.
@@Rieju-Sherco okay I'm possibly interested. Where do we go from here.
Do you still need parts?
It's sat in the garage. I rebuilt the engine and it's still a pig to start. Other things keep coming along. Why do you ask if I need parts?
How did the resto go on this project? Did you finish it?
Still sitting there waiting for enthusiasm!!!
Don’t think Ken is enjoying this.sounds like he’s panicking.
1:12 Im a novice but my dad still took me in coal chute and we did it free hand
Legends will watch after 10 years 😱😱
In 30 years this will be recommended to millions of people
It's been almost 11 yrs ago but there is still hope ... ;-) Does anyone have a link to the survey / map seen 1 minute 5 seconds into the video ? I found several others but am looking for this particular one.
Ahh so my dad wasn't lying bout the spiders being there
I love the Lobster pot. I've had lots of fun watching people struggle to get out. There's a trick to it. The way I do it is firstly NOT to drop a life line down. IMO it actually makes it harder. You can actually get out just pushing with your feet. The trick is to start climbing out until you get to the point where you head is out. At that point there is a broad obvious ledge for your feet and if needed you can have a quick breather. This is the point where most people go wrong. The best method is to turn to your left so you're facing towards the wall NOT towards the open chamber, drop one foot off the ledge to give yourself a bit more room and raise that foot as high as you can and you should locate a small hidden ledge. If you can get your foot on that then push until your leg is straight and hey presto you're out without ever needing to use your hands. Once you know how to do it you can get out in about 20-30 seconds.
A blast from the past!
Thanks for sharing. I'm going in a few weeks and doing some research on what are supposed to be some of the better roads we're routed onto and it looks great. Thanks also for doing it on a real bike.
Thanks for your comments. I'm going back to Spain in September.
Great playing dude! I dig your picking. I would be honored to do some kind of a collab with you some day ). Ping me if that is of interest. Oh, feel free to check out my improvisations on my channel if you want. Liked and subscribed! Can't wait to hear more. You've got a great technique.
Haha thanks man 😀. This video's posted on my Dad's channel (he's the biker) but free to check out mine (that's this one). I haven't posted anything yet but am working on some stuff so might have some vids soon-ish.
Rare one .. thanks God i owen brand new one .. never been used
You own a brand-new 1980 Yamaha IT 425 ??Allen
It was great I went
Myself and friends did this last night, I know what you mean about the spiders, lets just say they were more of an issue than the actual caving lol.....great video and good to see kids out and about.
Luke, What an amazing journey! I'm on the other side of the planet from you but I'm thrilled to be a small part of your guitar learning journey. I watched every minute of this video. What a fine player you are becoming. If ever you're in the US in the Nashville area, I'd be honored to have you on my live streaming guitar lessons show that I do from legendary Gruhn Guitars here in Nashville. I look forward to hearing so many more great things from you. Very proud of your accomplishments. There's much music to be made and you're bringing it about. Keep going! - Steve
wonderful to see kids having a go :)) they are our future cave rescue team mates ;) very impressive
I did the lobster pot last week with a 44" chest OMG it was tight. But with a little help from a extra foothold provided by a rope round my foot and up around the nicely positioned stalag I kinda found it easy to get back out. (under 10 mins wriggling and grunting)
Kids are awesome full stop my 7 year old has done it a few times even free climbing the coal shoot. (safety attached of course, but unused). I swear Kids have suckers for hands. Why do we adults loose this sticking to walls ability?.
When I went, we ended up freeclimbing the Tradesman's Entrance and I do not recommend it!
Brilliant video, brings back memories from when I went years ago. Very scary for a newbie though.
"That was awesome" said the little kid at the end. Awesome? I had about 5 panic attacks and after finally seeing daylight again after about 2 hours down there, promised myself I'd never go underground again unless I'm on the London tube.
Done this! With carbide lamps to boot! Piece of piss!
Did you attempt 'Hellish Tight'? That ain't no piece of piss
tommorows the day
Lol! - love the survey. Kinda seems familiar! ;-) Nice trip video and some good group reassurance/guidance.
