Recently assembled this rack to act as a portable groove box. Aim was to include a lot of highly playable modules with broad sonic palettes. Ryk Modular Night Rider in karplus strong mode. LFOs from Tetrapad feed Beat Freqs, which goes to SE-02 Trigger and Gate In Voltage from Tetrapad to SE-02 CV In adds harmonising notes between the sequencer steps (whenever the Gate from Beat Freqs fires). Cloud Terrarium into DPLPG, into SE-02 External Input, cos why not..

Everything is making a bit more sense, getting a good feel for the Tetrapad SE-02 isn't super interesting yet, it needs some FX or something to bring it to life

how do you chain these ceis?
Each stage of the envelope has its own trigger output, triggered at the start of the envelope stage. Take the trigger output from the Release stage of the first ADSR, and send it to the main trigger/gate input of the second ADSR. Take the trigger output from the Release stage of the second ADSR, and loop it back to the input of the first ADSR, creating a closed loop. Press the manual trigger button on one of the envelopes to get it started, and it will run in a constant loop. The remaining trigger outputs from the other envelope stages (ADS, ADS), as well as the summed trigger outputs, can now be used as a quasi/arhythmic sequencer (rhythm/speed determined by length of each envelope stage)

Can it function a straight VCA controllable by an ADSR envelope also?
The DPLPG, been a while since I've used it but from memory not really, it kind of has a tipping point, where incoming CV is high enough to activate it. Sending it CV from an ADSR will sound more like an ASR, with a short attack curve. But the circuit gives the curve a softness, so it doesn't sound harsh (ie, even if you send it a linear ADSR, it will still sound exponential).

I love this and know synthesis quite well but am stumped at how you are making the Sisters act like an LFO. Care to explain the patch?
+Cray It was a bit of a while ago so my memory is sketchy. I would hazard a guess and say: Three Sisters has three band pass filters, and can be driven into self resonance. So if all 3 (or just 2) bandpass filters are self resonating then they will be doing so at independent pitches, and so, especially noticeable at low frequencies, phasing will occur which will simulate LFO behaviour. This is an assumption but it could be tested by simply plugging outputs from the Three Sisters to a mixer alone with no modulation and listening. Hope that helps!!
