Part of my "Planet Coaster PC" series. This includes 53 of my earlier designs from my PC days of Planet Coaster, keeping the original names and layouts. Once a great pair of dueling wood coasters, but all had changed after the fires. The ride remained dormant for many years, but there has been whisperings that it's roared back to life yet again. Legend has it, that the lift still glows softly with burning embers, even after all these years. It's a mystery as to how and why the ride still remains standing... you should add some breaks before the station, it went in the station too fast, I'd recommend some trims then a block break
I agree, its too fast. There's actually 2 sets of block brakes right before the station, first one acting as a trim. I wondered why I originally designed it allowing it to enter at that speed, but then realized it was probably for capacity reasons, since it runs 5 trains continually without stacking. I believe if I adjusted the end brakes to enter slower, the train behind catches up and stacks for a moment before the train in the station clears. Definitely accounted for this in my newer designs.

Dang this is cool! You should RMC it hahaha. Also, question for you: how do you get the wooden coaster to maintain so much momentum/speed? I feel like no matter what I do, my woodies always shed so much momentum and I can only get maybe 2-3 bigger hills in before it drags ass and I can only get away with smaller hills (even if I make sure the train hauls ass over the bigger hills). Is there some friction setting I don't know about?
Yes! There is a friction slider that I believe you have to enable in the settings. Most of my PC coasters (including this one) don't use the friction adjustment cause that came in a later update. But, I've used it on everything since. Usually 0.8 for RMC and GCI trains and 0.7 for PTC.

So you know I love your newer creations and that I also watch all the old creations and to be honest this old ride is all potential and no fulfillment. You have really improved a lot over the years. Keep up the good work! An idea: Have you thought about taking these 53 earlier designs and recreating them with the set of skills you have now? I'd be a fan of that!
Thanks! Actually, this is one of my favorite of my old designs ;) I have! I wished for a long while I could retrieve them from PC and edit/improve them on PS5, but now I'm glad to have them in their original state. Although, it would be fun to try to recreate a few and spice them up a little.

Umm...sir I'm afraid we cannot insure this ride with the fire pits inside the cave. If you can remove them we should be able to get this ride insured for you...

Thanks! I believe the Frontier Workshop is only available through consoles, whereas the PC version uses the Steam Workshop.
What I really like about these is that they show a period in which your compositions were okay to good, but somewhat lacked the audicity of your more recent coasters. And the transitions have improved by zillions. Thanks for uploading these and I am realyl curious about your designs to come.
