The revelation of our Righteousness in Christ Jesus! Most Christians are trying to get to a place that they already are. Sin-consciousness manifests as fear that you do not have something. When you understand righteousness, you stop seeking deliverance and realize that you are! These three Truths about Righteousness will help you walk in this eternal life source: 1- Righteousness makes us totally NEW. Jesus came to make an end of sins. Through His death, burial, and resurrection, He brought sin’s power over human lives to an end. His sacrifice makes us new creatures. The old man has died and the new man is born again righteous. You have to settle it in your heart, “I am a new creature, and everything about this new creature is right!” 2 - Righteousness brings us NEAR to God, Paul says that we have been “brought near by the blood of Christ” (Eph. 2:13). Since Jesus dealt with sin, everything separating us from the Father has been done away with. We are one with Christ in God. 3 - Everything Righteousness offers is NOW. If it is true that Jesus has Jesus brought in everlasting righteousness. He made us completely and forever righteous before God! That means there is nothing left for YOU to do to be worthy of His promises. Today, make a decision that you are going to believe Him, that He is right about you, that you are right now the righteousness of God in Christ. Settle it in your heart that He has restored you, He has declared you righteous, and He will never see you another way! Share with someone who needs this today.
