Deathbattle stated they didn't include Raven's ultimate form, THE UNKINDNESS because its power scaling is out of the chart. *SHE ALMOST DESTROYED DC!!* Raven has 3 natures; a human, a demon, and a dark entity(something she did not inherit from her father). When the 4 Horsemen of Apocalypse rampaged the Earth, Raven for the first time, used her absorption ability in a risky way. She absorbed the 4 horsemen and made their beings/souls as hers. She ordered Shazam to lock her in the Rock of Eternity as she knows the consequences of her action. The dark souls of the Horsemen ultimately vanished Raven's humanity turning her into a FULL DARK ENTITY (This form of hers is even above her Demon form). This form utilized her SOULSELF'S whole nature. After being locked up, Unkindness(RAVEN) ordered the King of Hell Neron to mess up Shazam's mission to protect her prison. Raven ended up consuming Shazam's powers and destroyed the Rock of Eternity(PRISON). She ordered Hell to bow to her as their new QUEEN, later on killing the very King Neron. After NUMBERS OF YEARS, she rampaged through the whole OMNIVERSE, making the Seven Deadly Sins and Lords of Chaos her SERVANTS. The same lords of chaos that can rip comic pages literally. She ordered the seven deadly Sins to fight Superman Prime One Million and he was ready to fight. However, upon seeing the face of Unkindness, Superman Prime One Million shivered in fear destroying his will to fight. Unkindness released a lightning that one shot Superman Prime One Million. An army of Atlanteans tried to fight her but her seeing them *ERASED* them from existence. She destroyed the Speedforce Wall, New Genesis(a world that sees universes as bubbles), High Father that lives in New Genesis is so powerful that his power comes from the Source itself, didn't even survive the invasion. She also emptied HELL, HEAVEN, and *DESTROYED ALL PLANES OF EXISTENCE* . Something to note is that she didn't just destroyed those realms, *SHE ABSORBED THEM* turning their energy into hers. The remaining survivors from realms formed a new realm The Tower of Fate. Here are where The Quintessence evacuated. Spectre and The Old Wizard Shazam are one of the members of the Quintessence. They stated that the only way is to WAIT FOR UNKINDNESS TO FULLY CONSUME DC and they can just make a new one. Sadly, UNKINDNESS found them *KILLING AN IMMORTAL CHARACTER* in the process. After finding their hideout, UNKINDNESS one shoted everyone and killed them. The Old Wizard Shazam's lightning didnt even affected Unkindness. Old Wizard Shazam's lightning is so powerful it can disrupt the fabric of the OMNIVERSE. The Time Paradox was prevented by Past Raven's future vision. She saw that she will End all of Creation so she teamed up with Black Adam who came from THAT FUTURE and prevented the whole scenario. But all of the events remained in Raven's memories. Later on another Multiversal Crisis, UNKINDNESS returned. Raven alongside New Superman and SwampThing traveled inside Green Lantern's ring that has a DARK ENTITY on it. Familiar right? The Dark Entity affected the three characters turning the two EMOTIONALLY UNSTABLE while Raven is still Stable. She stated that since she is a being of DARK, she knows when it is affecting her. Superman tried to blame Raven that she is the villain. Raven had no choice but to do a RISKY MOVE yet again. She absorbed the DARKNESS AFFECTING Superman. Doing that, Unkindness returned *BUT IN A LOWER STATE* . Raven was still stable and she said she can no longer traveled further into the Darkness or A DARK ENTITY (referring to Unkindness) could have returned. Raven survived in Unkindness attempt in coming back. What makes Raven mysteriously powerful is her SOULSELF. Her soul is a nexus of all realities both known and unkown. It is also the representation of all UNREALITY. Her soul separates the mortal realm and the afterlife. Even wailing souls cry out to her begging for second chance in life. Her soul is a door to Heaven and Hell, both are higher planes of existence. Even dead souls started coming out of Raven's soul to come back to life. Raven's absorption is a power most writer ignore. She uses it starting from her classic era. She absorbed Brother Blood's powers to completely make him harmless. She fought a Goddess who DEFEATED Raven, but later on their second fight, the Goddess flew scared. Raven later on explains the Goddess feared her because Raven absorbed some of her powers.

Thank you so much for the reaction! I'm a Raven expert, so feel free to ask me questions about her. It's surprising that DEATHBATTLE left out Unkindness Raven who almost destroyed DC. Phoenix is labelled by Marvel as one of the most powerful beings while Raven is not. This statement is what makes people blind from looking at Raven's arsenal. She may not be a cosmic god but she was able to beat cosmic god tiers. She once rewrote reality and even rewrote Darkseid's personality. Able to absorb other people's powers and resisting reality erasure, shattering the bounds of reality. Silver Surfer (Marvel) vs. Martian Manhunter (DC Comics) and Frieza (Dragon Ball Z) vs. Megatron (Transformers) were arguably foreshadowings of this fight. Silver Surfer is a Herald of Galactus while Megatron was transformed into Galvatron becoming a Herald of Unicron.

Even though Frieza won the battle, Megatron won the Psychological War. Frieza ended up destroying Cybertron and shall be stranded in space for quite some time. Basically, like Discord, Megatron RUINED his opponent's victory.

Ngl Kevin comes off as a dickhead. Calling an episode "bad" because its something you're not interested in is sheep behavior. You can not like a matchup and still appreciate what it does right but he doesn't do that. He comes off as very disrespectful and honestly ruined the whole mood. Obviously, no one should be shamed of their opinions but there's a respectful way to disagree/not liking something. Maybe he was having a bad day, so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, but he kind of ruined the entire reaction for me. I used LUCCA to join Robo Marle actually SUCKS for the boss fight at the end of the factory area BUT before fighting HECKRAN learn Lightning 2 Fire 2 Ice 2 heal beam on Robo and hit lv 20 before fighting IT Antipode 2 for Marle Fire 2 Ice 2 require as a 2x tech with Lucca KILLS Heckran with only 3 uses of it so NEVER fight that BOSS WITHOUT it.

Alex's analysis of GvS3 was so biased and inaccurate, focusing on the most tiny details like "the fight doesn't have a beginning" - Okay? And? It's like he's constructing a strawman of ideas that NO ONE has. Superman is portrayed as so much better than in 1 or 2 lol.

I understand not liking the episode, everyone is allowed to have an opinion and every opinion is valid, but when moments like 21:33 happen it just makes that person seem like an ass for not letting someone just be happy about something.

Wow, I've seen members of other groups express dislike of a fight, but not to the point where they're so blatantly contemptuous they bring the entire experience down. You can defend it however you want, but this lowkey feels like trying to hamper the enjoyment of people who were into it.

Even though death battles makes it match up months in advance they still update the episode until the time it comes out like in Raven vs Phoenix they added during the death battle that at the time it comes out Jean Grey died again in the analysis for her

For the record, I didn't WANT to come back to do any more of these, but Alex needed me at first. But seeing that people didn't like how I felt about the battle, I can see that perhaps it's best I should just not ask questions, consume product, then get excited for next product. I already had a prior viewing to this battle beforehand, so there was honestly no need for me to really react to something I already reacted to. I already got enough shit from quite a number of people on the actual reaction, so I really don't need to hear it from the rest of the comment section.

I like how Kevin (I think that's what his name was, correct me if I'm wrong) complains so much during the entirety of the battle. And yet He doesn't even watch the battle, not even the CLIMAX, all He does is just go right on his phone with such disinterest, and doesn't even decide to pay attention to it. It's one thing to be hating on a Battle because your own personal reasons, thats personally fine. But not only did it just feel like He didn't even throw an actual criticism towards the entire fight or the entire episode as a whole, but also, the fact that He just decides to go on his phone is like...whats the point of being on the reaction at that point??? What's the point of even being there if you're just gonna go on your phone and go "it's bad, the end". That's the equivalent of going to a movie theater/sports event, going on your phone the whole time, and saying "I didn't care for it".

i can understand both sides on this episode. on one hand, like a lot of people, my initial reaction was that this was a wasted slot in the season and just felt like the DB cast couldn't let things go/were running out of ideas. on the other hand, i sympathize with Ben Singer's wish to redeem himself following Goku vs Superman 2 and to make this matchup a more definitive version given how far the channel has come since then. and personally, when i saw the teaser, it got my hopes up for it to become a situation like All Might vs Might Guy. as for the episode itself, i really liked it. i thought they really did a great job with the characterization (the friendship end was especially sweet) and the conclusion was a nice way to just remind the audience that by the end of the day, its all for entertainment (and i liked how self-aware they were about this matchup). that said, i do understand how a lot of it just comes off as a rehash of what a lot of people already knew, minus the recent abilities. and i know that a lot people were gonna be pissed regardless of who wins ("goku wins bc its a pity win" vs "superman wins bc DB is biased" vs "this episode was a waste"). they say that third time's the charm and while i do think this is a nice epilogue for this matchup, i perfectly understand how all this seems tiring. like what someone said here, if this was how GvS 2 went, there wouldn't be an issue. i still really like this episode and honestly, season 10 has been shaping up to be the best one IMO. def looking forward to the finale!
