@@theconciliatr Not really. Standing your ground and or making yourself big is a defense against predators like bears. The predator stops when he realized your not running.

He signed up to protect with his life that’s what he’s supposed to do …He would have said he feared for his life if they were unarmed and black and killed them …
In this particular case he is in a crowded street so a gun fight is a bad idea and calling for backup as they are having a stare down would immediately get him fired upon. There's doing your job as an officer and then there's being an idiot. He sees the car and that they are armed and already have guns drawn. The moment they start driving he can immediately get on the radio then to report it then without further risk to not only his life but the lives of others because again it is a semi crowded area and a gun fight would be a terrible idea.

@@Blickymouse4 I'm very much aware of that. But one thing to remember is in their whole carrier only like a quarter of cops ever even have to fire their guns outside of a range at all in their whole career. And again there was literally nothing he could do in this very specific case from a movie that would never happen quite like that in real life. I'm the first to criticize when it comes to how the police do things but this specific case there isn't shit he can do with multiple armed assailants guns at the ready when his hasn't even unholstered.

@@wise1296 There's no use arguing with a child who thinks life is a video game. You are correct in that if the officer even looked like he was going to pull his weapon, he'd be dead where he sat. Innocent bystanders would be dead too. The lives he swore to protect, his sworn oath and duty are infinitely more important than the replaceable, insured property being stolen.
