Some people theorized that the reason why Jason is alive is because his father Elias Voorhees saved him and pulled him out of the lake but after that he left and Jason had to fend for himself in the woods and I actually agree with that theory because it actually makes a lot of sense but what do you think?

I believe in the first Friday the 13th Jason was looking for his mother the whole time she was killing the counselors he was just about to find her when he saw what Alice did to her that's what makes this music so sad picturing Jason seeing his mother in her last moments

The ending is a ripoff of Carrie. The ending of Carrie is a ripoff of Deliverance. But that is all cool by me. All great endings to good movies.

I feel like they should have at least let the cop say “ Jason’s been dead for years” “instead of we didn’t find any boy”, it would make sense that the cop was around the time of Jason’s drowning or maybe fresh out of the academy, it seems like the townsfolk is aware about the curse of crystal lake

Though i love Jason and this franchise as a whole, a part of me wishes that this was the only film. That ending where she says, "He's still there. . ." And it has an emotional zoom in of the lake, indicating that Jason really did die, and the last remaining memory of him died with his mother, who despite being crazy was just destroyed by the death of her onlu son. In some way, Alice understood but still was traumatized. This was a perfect but sad ending that couldve made an impact.

44 yrs later after seeing it at the drive-in with mom,dad, and sister as a 9 yr old...after all the changes over that period of time, the rolling credits and music are still there......

Jason was out there & seen ever part of this poor kid… he had every right to turn out the way he was bullied & saw his mom killed that was the last straw💯

6:39 as a kid, sure this movie terrified me, and I'd learn from why Mrs. Voorhees did what she did from a cousin's explanation. But at this moment here; I always thought the bigger bubble or ripple was meant to be his mother, and the smaller one was Jason... as a hint to what I thought; "They're together again".
