I've had a pathological Oasis obsession since mid'00s being teenager and all that. Although sometimes I wonder if I'm "overrating" or paying too much attention on my favourite group just a bit. Then I watch Top of the pops from 94-97 era and see how terrible performers and music where around that era including the ones under the "indie rock" label. Even if some of the Oasis' songs feel overplayed every now and then, They were MILES ahead of average at the time (Yeah I know there was a few others that were above the standard as well but u really can count 'em with your 2 hands)
