I don't even ride for Kataang like that (not a hater was just never particularly obsessed with the ship), but GOD DAMN! This is THE Kataang edit. This would get people watching the show, who haven't done so in years. This would get people who've never seen the show to watch it. That's how good it is. 10/10 for editing alone but the parallels? Insane! I consider myself a pretty big ATLA fan but the amount of connections you've managed to make between these two characters that I've never even thought about blows my mind & just goes to show that (regardless of shipping preferences) the show really is that deep/layered. Definitely will try to check out your other stuff after this masterpiece.

I understand where you're coming from. Relationships in stories can be complex, and it's important to feel like they've been properly developed. It's totally okay to have opinions about how characters connect with each other! In the case of this particular relationship, I can see why you might feel like there could have been more development. It's true that rich character development can really enhance our investment in a story. At the same time, I've found that sometimes the subtle nuances and smaller moments between characters can build a strong foundation for a relationship, even if it might not seem like a lot on the surface. For me, I appreciate the chemistry and potential that I see between these characters. While I understand your perspective about wanting more in-depth development, I also think there's something intriguing about the sparks we do see. Maybe it leaves room for our imagination to fill in the gaps or to explore where these characters could go next. It's great that we can share our thoughts openly about these things. Everyone's viewpoint adds depth to how we understand and engage with stories. If there's more development in the future, that would be exciting to see. Dude if anything it was too overdeveloped and they should’ve had them together earlier instead of stretching the story out and adding petty arguments and moments in just to make the story better lmao, I don’t get how people genuinely believe that it was undeveloped it was some of the most developed shit in the show besides Zukos arc. And still even at the end this is them literally starting a relationship, not marrying each other…it doesn’t take much to start a relationship…and if you wanna see them in love love then go read the comics or wait for the movie coming out in 2026 which will most likely have their wedding. While I know the final kiss was a very passionate one, it is probably them letting up all their feelings that have been pint up pretty much every episode from The Cave on that we’re not able to be let out or shown to each other because they were always on the run and like katara said “had bigger things to worry about” this was still only the start of their relationship.
