Your experience is useless and not helpful. Why you are leaving Albania 🇦🇱 after 7 months. You didn’t even mention the Albanian language. Please 🙏 Do Not make no more videos with your test of music 🙀🤬🤯😡
Please, get to the point, you talk and talk and talk, many commercials and annoying .
Many thanks for your kind comment!
i live in vlora and i lived sooooooo closed when u where to the flag that said 1912 i think i love ur vids keep it up
I DO NOT SEE ANCIENT ALBANIAN LETTERS AT ALL...
Thank you for the insights - very helpful. I like how culture supersedes commercialism and cash is king. The Walmart's, with endless shelves of Chinese made land-fill fodder is like a nuke for small business, it turns the local retail market into a barren wasteland. God bless small-business and a national lifestyle of less is more. 😁
Oh, this is way to sloooooooooow for being in the same scenery.
Enttäuschend 😢

Great video
Thanks!!
@@vansvoyage6604 welcome I sent you an email. I wonder why you stopped vlogging? Wanted to ask you out of the 3 bigger coastal towns in albania what would be the best pick to have a base there or investment? Many thanks
Hello! In my opinion, Durres is a great city to set up a base. With its close proximity to Tiarana and the wonderful beaches, it makes for a great experience to enjoy Albania. My second favorite would be Vlore. This is another amazing beach city but a bit quieter in the off-season. I hope this helps. Once again thanks for watching my videos!!
@@vansvoyage6604 thanks Vans I was leaning towards Durres as it has a lot to offer but not many RUclipsrs show it as a hot favorite. Logistically to me it seems like the best pick. Sarande may be too quite off season and too far away? Most of the expats seem to favour Sarande but I like the look of durres to also be able to take the ferry to Italy and close to the capital and airport etc and to go to any events in the city.
Hi, Sea at Izmir called Aegean Sea. Its far from Marmara Sea which is Surrounded by Istanbul. Kind regards
What cities did you stop in to sleep because I'm thinking of doing the same trip?
Good video thanks! Curious, is this a country where everybody smokes cigarettes? Some countries you can't go anywhere without walking through clouds of smoke. Smoking in restaurants? Thanks!
You nailed it, everyone smokes in Tirana.
@@deansawaf7056 Ugh that's a big thumbs down..oh well
I'm looking into a visit next year with possibility of a permanent move, some good information.
Hey do you know if the night market is open at certain days or times of the year? We are currently in Vlorë and were wondering if it's still open
Honestly, I am not sure. If you find out, please let me know.
I bring olive oil to the states every time I visit my country and I only drink it for medicinal purposes or to cook it’s the most healthy and the best oil that I can’t find here anywhere
Watching your video right now. We are planning a trip to Balkans and choosing cities to visit. Your video is awesome! Vlore and Sarande look super cute! How hot is it in the middle of June in Vlore? You mentioned it was pretty hot. We plan to be in Croatia and Montenegro in a winter and spring/summer - Albania and Greece. I hope it doesn't get to 40 degrees in a summer there! :)) thank you! I will continue to watch.
Thanks for watching! The temperature in Vlore in the summer was usually around 30 degrees, not too much over that. I hope you enjoy Albania! Safe travels!!
Thank you for this video #travalcouple
Thanks for watching!!
Great report and best of luck to you !
where are you now?!
You forgot Stela Beer
Peroni is Italian. But people love it here in Albania
Wonderful video, in few days I will be on your footsteps:).
Haha, drivers are crazy. Hope you don't drive as an albanian when you come back to USA. Glad that you enjoyed your stay in Albania.
Kanina use to be very important on Yllirian time, place of the law, rules, before Roma appear. Was part of Kanonia, territory of the Kaoneve tribe. Ju can hear and today for " kanun" .
TIRANA IST DER SCHÖNSTE HAUPTSTADT IN BALKAN..WILLKOMEN IN TIRANA...ALBANIEN🇦🇱🥂🍷🇦🇱
Hi , do you recommend for someone to buy appartment at Durres beach for investment purpose , rentals , capital gain on selling in future , growth etc ?
Albania is a very small country. In my opinion it is a third world country.. They state institutions are very corrupted
So are the most countries in the world
Your opinion keep it for yourself...
Third-World: The concept itself has become outdated as it no longer represents the current political or economic state of the world and as historically poor countries have transited different income stages- Wikipedia What is "first-world"?....The hallmark of true nobility is honesty. With very few exceptions, America is the most wickedly corrupt and ignoble sewer hole on the planet. The more I learn about America, the more disgusting she reveals herself to be....and that IS the hall-mark of the 1st-world in the 21st.
Very corrupted and they want the Euros 💶 that you have. Bad qualities goods but the west and Euros 💶 prices. Taxi drivers are very expensive and they speak Euros 💶.
Pros of this video: Great info and perspective. Cons: Background music for me is very distracting, Titles for each point would be helpful. I thought this could have been much shorter. Not trying to be mean. Just don't have 30 minutes to extract the desired info. Thanks.
Appreciate the advice, thanks!
I agree especially about the music.
Enjoy your dessert, Künefe is the dessert of Antakya province therefore it is not easy for you to find it in Gaziantep. The best baklava and sarma is cooked by Koçak in Gaziantep. The name of the city was Antep before but after the independence war , Turkish Grand Parliament honoured the people of Antep by adding Gazi to the name of the city due to the great fight shown to the enemies. Gazi means Veteran, so it is Gaziantep now. Same applies to Şanlıurfa, it was Urfa before and honoured as Şanlı , means Glorious, but locals say Antep , Urfa in short. The best lahmacun is at İmam Çağdaş restaurant.
Thanks for all the great information! I appreciate it!!!
Bert where are you now ? Any thoughts of joining the resistance in Ukraine 🇺🇦 🤔?
I'm currently in Tbilisi, Georgia. No plans on heading to Ukraine anytime soon. Maybe as a tourist in a few years..
No , it is not Marmara Sea, it is a Bay of İzmir and it is a part of Aegean Sea. Marmara Sea is an internal Sea and located in the north .
Ahh, ok. I was confused. Thanks for clearing that up for me.
Brilliant videos mate, you really looking you had a good time there Brilliant.

Very interesting way of vlogging. It feels like you are directly talking to me. Enjoyed your videos a lot so far. As a viewer I would recommend to not use any music (depending on what you are showing). Your vlogs are like a documentary, so it feels really serious and very 'educative'. You speak a lot and providing many info. After getting used to your way of vlogging, that's what got me interested tbh. What I liked so far are: you really being interested in what you are doing, sharing info, serious and being a real explorer by staying quite long in 1 city trying to learn everything what you can. My dislikes were: repeating yourself a lot, not recording many places( talking about nightlife in Izmir but not showing it), a feeling that you look a bit uncomfortable in vlogging and not being 100% relaxed in front of the camera. I can be wrong but these are my impressions so far. With repeating what I mean is for example in the Istanbul video's you were talking about hipsters and so and tried to prove yourself that what you meant was something else and kind of repeated yourself a couple of times. And that I link to bein a bit uncomfortable and that's why not being relaxed in front of the camera. After watching 2 video's we will definitely understand what you really mean and will not get you wrong :) So all by all I personally think that you are doing a great job. If there is something you want to know about Turkey, you can ask me that. I would recommend you going to the Black sea region. Rize or Trabzon. Very green and a lot of green mountains. Completely different mentality compared to Istanbul or Izmir. The people of these regions are a bit of a heat headed, but packed with an golden heart. You can also try the Anatolian region. It's not very 'exciting' but the people from there are very 'pure'. Living more by traditions and culture. Not a super progressive way of life, but more of a faraway from the big cities life. I am more talking about towns and village's. The cities are also more tradition but a city is always a city. And then you have the southern part. More progressive, green a lot of beaches, beautiful towns and olive oil!! Were they consume butter in Anatolia they consume olive oil. Fun fact: there is a song called 'zeytinyagli yiyemem' what means i cant eat olive oil (food made with olive oil). This music is a music were people sing and dance with it especially at weddings and stuff like that. When USA came with the Marshall plan to help European countries around 1950 ( Turkey was one of them ) by repaying them Turkey had to buy the corn oil of overproducing corn and not going to waste. After that many olive trees were destroyed. The composer of this song got payed for it, and also many lies were told that if olive oil is heated up you could get cancer from it. And after that people started to eat margarine thinking that was better and a margarine factory was opened. This was just 1 of the many products. Also clothes ( fashion ) came over from the Us. Basically local=bad Us products=good. Like you said '' I am pretty sure about that but I am not 100% sure of that' also counts for me :)
Thanks for watching some videos, and I really appreciate your feedback!!
@@vansvoyage6604 you are very welcome sir!
