Ended up here via the side bar.... and then went through a load more drum covers of this, and, you have the hitting power and the micro inflections that give 'groove' and real punch to this... being higher in the mix helps adds to this. That everything shakes when you hit the crash is an neat unintentional touch... Bring to mind if this had Devo's Alan Myers drumming, only come to appreciate his unique style recently, gets a bit overshadowed by the 'wacky' element.
