Crossover Touring
Добавлен 22 апр 2015
CROSSOVER TOURING provides customized touring for multi-genre artists. We combine 30 years of experience and a life-long passion for music with great tools and a talented staff to offer exceptional service to our clients on both sides of the deal.
CROSSOVER TOURING was created to realize our desire to hand-craft a roster of artists that demonstrate a capacity to 'crossover' narrow genre boundaries in their touring and performance appeal. As music and the music business evolve, genre lines are becoming more blurred. The opportunity for creative music to gain traction with multiple demographics is growing. A typical Crossover artist can play in several different configurations at events ranging from the most genre specific festivals to Bonnaroo, from the 9:30 Club to Carnegie Hall.
Our roster is as diverse as American roots music has the potential to be, but even though it covers many styles, there remains a common thread: exceptional musicianship, phenomenal live shows, and the abilit

Victor Wooten performing National Anthem at MSG 1/16/17
I've heard great things from Mr. Wooten, but this wasn't one of them. Someone in here said he was the most technical bassist out there, but I think I'd have to give that to Adrian Davison ruclips.net/video/Zo7Gj5qdxZs/видео.html. Now there's a technical national anthem (and yes, he's Canadian)
What effin effect is Vic using???
The best⭐️⭐️⭐️
Dang!
I’m sorry, but this is bad. He’s a talented musician but either the equipment or the venue failed the sound. Not to mention that it is the national anthem of the usa, and should be played loudly and boldly, and bass guitar just doesn’t seem to do that very well.
👏🏾👏🏾
I can imagine the audience getting home later that night and wondering what the smell was on their clothes, having no idea that Funk came from Victor Wooten and his band. They had no idea what they were witnessing. A three man band ain't supposed to be that funky, no keyboard, no guitar... WTF
Wtf was that?!? Sounds like me, day 3 with my first guitar...
Victor is the best most technical bass player to ever live. He went for a subdued version but actually those harmonics are very hard to get right
I think his tone is limited as he's not using his usual gear. Just going straight from bass > house
👍😲😯☝️👏👏👏
Who are we kidding? This audience isn't understanding any of this whatsoever. Myself included 😁😁😇👀
Now this is America right here with the experimentation built on creative ideas indeed! ™🔴
So what technique is that called, making the sting ring against the metal rails (intro)
Natural harmonics
seems he dont like america
Sounds like bird shitt
I'm saddened by the non applause at the end, it would have been an other band that they deserved a bit of recognition anyway... bad crowd, awesome musicians.
What happened to the sound??
I remember him when he had a head full of hair!!!
I actually thought I was going to be impressed. Fleas national anthem was so much better.
They ruined the EQ and it sounded awful. If the sound quality was better and we weren’t hearing full direct input, I’d enjoy it more
There's a comment in here about the sound being "straight from the soundboard". Does that explain the lack of applause? I bet it does. Maybe there was someone from the game who could confirm there was a round of applause at the end. I need there to have been a round of applause. I'm confident there was. Surely. Actually I can see a woman wearing white banging her hands together during the "let's hear it for" announcer part.
Yea it does. Sometimes you can kinda hear the applause just at the slightest moment. It’s comping straight from direct so we’re only hearing what’s coming from the bass drums and sax and the announcers mic
@@Anythingidontreallycare phew. Thanks for the feedback. Thank goodness there was no feedback in the audio, lol. It's really nice to know there probably was an adequate round of applause for this great performance.
@@TheFletchandSebShow no worries man. When they finish the song, and the announcer starts talking, listen carefully, you’ll here people start to applaud
I didn't like it.
My favorite speech to listen to and jam along with! Brilliant speech and a brilliant idea UVM! Victor's parents should be proud on "who he is." What an authentic and humble man!
These guys are too good for Madison square
Sounds horrible. All of it

ベース1本でここに立つことの重み 大好きだよビクター
This wise man once said "there are no wrong notes" and this right here proves his words
Terrible
I love Wooten... but let's be honest, very poor song choice for this venue.
This definitely went too 11
정말 헤어나올수 없을 정도로 매력적이네요
Hello man ! Could you tell me if there is a video of the full victor wooten show at the jarasum festival in 2006 in korea ?
for those who are comparing Wooten to Flea, ask Flea what HE really thinks of Wooten's musicality and technique.. It's not just the style. Wooten is another level
It’s not about how much he knows of his technique, the harmonics intro was awful
@@leandrobatt8122 harmonics like that aren't for everyone it comes down to preference im not a huge fan. that said i will not stand by as someone calls victor wooten a bad musician
@@benhall4766👊🏽AMEN TO THAT BROTHER🙏🏽
@@leandrobatt8122 and we are gonna pretend that Flea's chords didn't sound like trash.
For anyone that doesn’t know, the sounds are come directly from input, which is why we can’t hear the audience
Amazing musicians but, why putting a jazz little concert as a half time performance in a basket game?
The audience has no idea what magic they were lucky enough to have heard in person
Be a leader amongst equals
That crowd f’n sucks. Couldn’t hit water if they fell out of a boat..
Whats the deal with Vics magic red button
I recommend everyone watching this video also check out Christian McBride’s National Anthem. It’s on RUclips. For those that don’t know, he’s a fantastic jazz bassist.
Leave Victor alone he’s out there killing it
I think about all of those people who think about that strange guitar with only 4 strings.
shave it, wear a beanie like Marvin did...
Sweet
They didn't clap cause it was out of sinc. It was a bass show instead of a musical performance.
Love Victor Wooten. Just wish sometimes he would get in the groove and get out of the way.
Their play was too difficult for basketball fun
This is proof that sometimes the band isn’t what needs to be good enough for the event, but the event is what needs to be good enough for the band. Shame on these fans man
Hit me.
