Ey I deposited a check wen I opened the bank account but they returned a legal copy of the check saying that it hade a uncollected fund hold if u have anything that could help me I would really appreciate it
Hi Alfredo. If the check you are referring to was deposited into an ENB account, please contact us at (877) 773-6605 or visit an of our Community Banking Offices for additional assistance. If the check was deposited into an account at another bank, we recommend discussing with them as policies can differ at various financial institutions.
Can a next day item be held for 9 days for a new account?
Hi Sheila, thanks for your question! At Ephrata National Bank, we do not typically place holds on new accounts unless there are extenuating circumstances. For accounts at ENB, we recommend stopping by one of our Community Banking Offices to discuss any holds that you may have. If your account is not with ENB, you will need to check with your financial institution to confirm their policies. Feel free to reach out through direct message if you have further questions about ENB’s account holds.
How about switching from fixed to variable
Hi Paul. Great question. The same concept would apply. You'd have to apply for a variable rate loan and if approved use the proceeds from that loan to pay off the fixed rate loan. If you'd like to apply with ENB, please visit any of our community banking offices www.epnb.com/about-enb/locations/.

Is there a 30 year heloc???
Hi Kasoka. Some banks offer 30 year HELOCs, however they may limit the draw period for 10 to 20 years and the remainder of the term is used to pay back outstanding balances on the line. Ephrata National Bank 's HomeLine HELOC has a 25 year maturity with draws allowed during the entire term.
Thanks for the video and hopefully you still check comments. Does this mean you can only borrow 80% of the home value to initially purchase the home? Example: Listing Price is $100,000, LTV is 80% so the bank will only loan you $80,000. Is that correct?
Not necessarily Matthew. Some mortgage loans for home purchases require a 20% down payment, but there are many programs that allow you to purchase a home with less money down. ENB has programs that require a down payment a low as 3%. To find the loan that will work best with your situation, we recommend talking with an ENB Mortgage Expert. How long is it taking for the appraisals in Houston ? For equity loan ?
