So that longest top leaf should only be 19 chains. You added 3 dtc, but you removed 1 tc, so it would only be two stitches longer than the previous leaf.

Balls and bowls for me! I'm a baller because of this. Many moons ago when I first started crochet, so many yarn vomits looking for the center pull that made horrible knots and I was a teenager so much anger and angst over it 😂 and now I've been balling yarn for so long that it's 2nd nature.
