@@Shwoop_poop a discord group called echo VR lounge has instructions and links. You just have to get a specific version of echo from GitHub, patch it, and side load it. I think they've actually simplified that process quite a bit. discord.gg/echo-vr-lounge

@@Kanaetochi yep, that sound about right. I Appreciate the constructive criticism / feedback. Next time we're on the game at the same time if you want to help me get better or give me some tips I'll accept it. But I've been playing pups for a long time, and I've already tried to get good at re grabbing and juking, passing shooting catching. Anchor shots, half cycles, dribbling backwards regrabing. But I've noticed that everybody on my team always wants to get the disc and score the goals, so I just let them do their thing, well I just focus on keeping the other team from being able to move, or have passed options, or make saves. I don't need to get the disc, I just need to be in between the disc and the other team. So like when the disc gets cleared and everybody goes chasing it, I actually prefer not to regrab with my teammates just because it messes up my rhythm a little bit. I do though, just to give them a boost usually when I can see that they're looking to me for the regrab, but I want to get all the way to the disc, I'm usually looking around for how am I going to trip up the other teams regrab trying to get the disc. Then if I hit him just right and get that boost and my team still has the disc on offense, I don't even try to be a pass option, I just disable the goalie. I don't know, it works for me but I know it's not the most professional strategy in the world. Play I'm a pup player, and I'm just enjoying being the best bruiser in the whole game. It's just nice being good at something, not like call of duty where I could never win cuz I couldn't figure out how to quickscope. Lol. I just gave away my whole strategy in this comment, that's okay. Sometimes it seems like the only reason it works so good for me is cuz I'm the only one doing it.

Join Echo combat lounge on discord also known as ecl lounge or something like that. The help yourself section has tutorials for stand-alone and PC. Then follow the tutorial to downgrade Echo and patch it. It's run on community servers now from that discord group. Unofficially of course, but all runs better than it ever did. Good luck, the tutorial can be kind of frustrating, but everybody gets there eventually. But when you get into that lobby for the first time again not knowing what to expect, and you see players f****** around in there, it will all be worth it.

Just follow the tutorials and you'll be playing echo again in no time. The only thing that sucks is if you didn't download Echo when it was free in the store, you won't have the token of authenticity to patch the game correctly. Good luck.

As long as you had the game on your Oculus or made an account when it was available, you'll be able to downgrade The software to one that worked before it was shut down, patch it, and play it just like before. Everything is run on private servers now and it all happens through this discord group.
