I just bought these and honestly i tried EVERYTHING tape water screaming NOTHING WORKS. I caught her at 1 am doing it and when i screamed she just looked at me 😭😭😭 this is the only way..i dont think it looks as bad as destroyed couches. AND SHE HAS 5 SCRATCH POST

If only this SAME setup was available with scratch proof clear plastic! I don't want to PROMOTE a cat to scratch furniture, I want to prevent it!!! Even a smoother material that is less scrunchable would be better IMHO

Terrible idea to have a cat direct their scratching to the sofa. Get a scratch post and put it next to the armrest or a scratch pad. and a water spray bottle if they scratch the sofa.

I am sorry but if you have to make your furniture look that bad, to keep your cats off of it and from scratching it up, I would just get rid of the cats because that looks worse than it would if the cat scratched it.

The flat other black tool that looks like a hook is for caulk removal.
Tip: After you put the silicone, spray it wet with soapy water and the tool also before scraping, then the wall won't be messed up.
