That was a lovely soft rainbow of colours. I’ve had to add a few to my list! I already have Wearingeul Geppeto in a pen, and I’m loving both the soft coral colour and the beautiful shading of the ink. In a wet pen with a smooth medium nib it really does well. Hopefully your end of the video ink-into-pens plans work out well.

I have been watching every video about the different kinds of journals and planners, looking for something that might work for me. I'm not a youngster, so even though I'm quite elderly, I am ready to start a new hobby/system to help me be better organized with all of my Bible studies. I have seen several videos that feature the Hobonichi planners, and everything I have seen just won't work for me. However, I am intrigued! I have seen men who have posted their planners, and every one of them are using a Hobonichi or something similar for their edc's. I suppose that the reason for this is that they are masculine as well as easy for them to carry. Perhaps next year I might dip my toe into a Hobonichi journal. I definitely know a planner won't work for me, but a journal might be fun to play around with. I will have to start saving now for all of 2026!

Hello I saw your video. You can try to iron it out with a towel or piece of fabric over it. It looks like it was just creased with packaging and distance.

Beautiful haul ❤ I had same problem with one of my covers , depending if it can be fixed - email hobonichi they will tell you how to get the crease out , if faulty they might be able to send you a new cover out. xx

ooh, i love this! i also use the same method but i combine my reading notes and review into one journal. i find that a no frills reading journal is what works best for me, because if i make it very organized and pretty like what i usually see others have, i know i won’t be consistent in using it, lol

So nice to see what you’re using for next year and that your notebook matches your cover🤩 It’s a shame about your cover creasing, I feel like hobonichi experience this year wasn’t very user focussed! Hope it gets sorted for you if you decide to let them know👍

I would email hobonichi with a photo of the crease in the cover and ask what you can do about the crease and tell them you are unhappy with the crease. I think doing this is reasonable because your cover has a defect.

This was awesome! I often find it frustrating when there are so many cute notebooks that just aren’t good with fountain pens. Using a Hobonichi Weeks this year as my main planner, but it is a weird size. I love that pocket size. I recently bought a Muji A6 planner for next year and I love the layout, so I’ll see how that goes with fountain pens before I decide whether or not to get another Hobonichi.
