A collection of photos found on the web of steam running on the Pine Creek Railroad in Allaire State Park.
Is it just me, or has anybody else noticed that Chrysler is now painting some of the lower front end "facia" of their cars yellow, similar to 2102? (Sorry, it's hard to describe, but you'll know it when you see it.) It's just a L-R stripe like on her front end running boards.
I heard that where the manasquan bike trail is now was a rail line years ago and that’s how the old steam engines got to allaire

The fact that she's nearly 80 and still pulling all of this on her own is mind-blowing.
It is, but keep in mind that she was rebuilt to be as good as new!

I Sure miss the good days of SS&S 26... although sadly to say we will not be restoring steam sadly... we just dont have the money.... we are more focused on getting the red ge 25 tonner called the pumpkin restored to service.... unfortunately sence i work there idk if we will run steam again...
Yeah but we might work on 46 once the pumpkin is done. Although we might fix a passenger car first.

@@bracdude181 didn’t i hear 46’s current boiler is too large or too small or something?? I heard from another colleague it wont fir the frame or it wasn’t accepted to be certified

Thanks Eric! Those photos really brought back some great memories. I think I'll have to dig out some old photos of my own and scan then. I've got some from my grandfather and father from the late 60's and early 70's.
Will they ever run steam here again?
We are on the process of working on it but rn the project is on hold for now until we get other jobs done
