Btw for clarification on the Fillmore clip Danny's character in Fillmore is in the frame RUclips chose as the thumbnail, not the blond guy doing most of the talking. Also Sakura's clip is so short by comparison bc I had to cut it down since part of it got flagged for copyright. Strangely /only/ the part I had to cut out.

32:25 It’s actually meant to say “HATE” as currently the doctors were trying to find a specific moment that happened in his life to erase from his memory, so he can be completely desensitized when they need him incase of an attack on the United States. Him and every other sleeper agents that ended up failing cause the doctors can’t find a way to reverse the process and damage they did to patients.

I never wanted to play this cheap copy game, but I was left with no option to try it out regardless for the sake of a few dopamine hit. But thanks to your video, here is what I learned about the game : - terrible/unappealing character design - lack of adult/mommy waifus - very few highest grade characters in the game Now I know this game is much more F2P than Heroes of Crown Legends, but that game has nice 3D character design, better combat gameplay and has a lot more waifu (adult) characters. So I'll forget this again and continue with HOC: Legends or something else

He may have an arc and this may be out of depression but so far we’ve seen that he’s in a virtual world and is basically just using it as a wreck room. A lot of people, myself included, read his jackassery as "depressed" or "nihilistic" which is why he might be a dick, but he's still a dick. He's selfish, he's looking to make things fun for himself and he didn't care about anyone. Both can be true. That nihilism can lead to that behaviour, but I think a lot of people focused so much on the "deep" aspect of it that they sorta forgot that at surface level he's still just that: A dick. He hasn't shown any signs of being nice in the pilot, and while we might still see a character arc, that has yet to come, and until that comes, he's not gonna change. We've gotten used to frame these characters as victims of something greater that justifies their actions, but when they act in such an extreme manner, that image begins to crack, which people don't like. I think this is the middle ground between "villain does this because tragic backstory" and "villain is simply evil"

I was slightly taken aback by the violent tendencies that showed up in episode 2, but I was just like "oh, I misread him a little." I really don't get what the big deal is. "Oh no, the asshole is being an asshole. I don't like him, he's an asshole." Freaking brilliant. Not sure why you'd expect anything different. XD edit: I still like him, but he's no longer my favorite character, that's all. My favorite character is Gangle, and no, I don't think I'm quite sane.

Not sure how relevant this is but most women have a danger sense so they can avoid dangerous men. However some women with troubled backgrounds get their wires crossed so when the danger sense goes off they think "I have special connection to this man" or "He's attractive"

You forgot when he said "ladies first. Oh wait why would I say that?" And then pushed gangle aside. Or you know, when he left pomni and ragatha to (potentially) d1e. It's not clear if humans d1e in adventures or not. but humans definitely can get severely hurt by an abstracted human (like poor ragatha and pomni's hand). And yeah, pomni left ragatha too. but she came back and was obviously sad because of leaving her behind. while Jax never showed any sign of remorse. I like Jax as a character. He's well written and entertaining. But to say that he is not a Jerk is just lying.

I hate to mention the phrase media literacy but if you watch him be an asshole the entire pilot and think "he's actually nice" you're definitely some kind of person
