Insomniac seems to be one of those few studios left that wants the game to be fun, not "perfect." Get rid of the bad glitches, keep the fun ones.

What do you mean? The whole world is already rendered when you enter the game. That’s why there was a “ps2 graphics” glitch that made the whole world look cartoonish.
