When the ball hits your set point (ball above your head right before release), i noticed that your left leg kicks forward a little to release pressure and tension in your hips. If you watch Kobe, MJ, Larry Bird, Steph, etc... you'll notice that their leg drifts forward too and their hips naturally swivel mid air. You have the right idea, but if you're a right handed shooter, the leg closest to the shooting pocket should drift (right leg). If you can switch that leg drift from your left leg/foot to your right leg/foot you will have a much smoother and consistent jump shot and you will be able to align your self to the basket in a much more natural motion. Unsolicited jump shot advice, but hope it helps!
