Nice bag work & heavy puncher 👊
@echo-tear thank you bro
Big Nick is nailing it, again! If you shred 30lbs you'll be lean and mean! Keep up the good work brother!
@@MikeyDaHammer that’s the goal bro. Be around 240-230 and ready to rip.
that was some good work, keep it up!
@eichhoernchenvernichter appreciate that bro
7:54+ I'm proud of you, perfect guard!👍 In total: Very good speed, very fluid movements, lots of power.👊 Also liked the the short version of the video, with Metallica (instant strength +10). In about two hours I have a rendezvous with my heavybag, can't wait for it.😈
@@MAD-w3x thank you bro. Really tried to push myself this time and remember my foundations. Howd your bag session go? Let’s see the video!
@@BigNick504 Currently I have a lack of endurance. Bulked up, but gained lots of fat, too. 240 is definitley my upper limit. I suffered a long time from golfer's elbow syndrome, wasn't able to punch with snap. It felt horrible. Pain is gone, strength is back and I am happy! And hitting the bag is fun again! When having more endurance, I will give you a video. Otherwise it would be too short😂. Bro, I wish you and your family a merry christmas!
Nice job, i wouldn't bet me against you
@@Paulkersey5921 shiiiiiit I just watched you shrug 500lbs for reps. Don’t count yourself out.
I'm not
Little more head movement
are you training just for yourself? or want to participate in it professionally? from professional stand point you should be better in one component than everyone else. what is that component where you better than everyone else? and than use that component to attack and defend. for example main problem of your weight will be range. you will be hit from a distance by a taller leaner boxers. If you try to hit them they will be running away, you need a component which will make you win in this game.
I plan on trying to take my first fight in March. I have a gym and a trainer but with work some nights I can make it so I train at home. I have never sat down and thought about it. I’d say my best attribute would be strength, clinching and inside fighting. Hooks and uppercuts to the head and body.
Nice Boxing Mate, keep going

@@BigNick504 you're welcome
Hey brother always love seeing people training for whatever reason. Now I only watched this one video of yours and I saw in the comments that you were already tired, but I have a small bit of advice if you'd like. I believe you could use a little more hip power in your punches. At the moment it appears that you are punching with only the power of your upper body. If you care to you might try focusing on generating an amount of forward momentum with a hip thrust like motion and then following through with the punch. This will give you a little more power and speed, but most importantly it will keep your center of balance lower so you don't throw away any momentum or give it to your opponent, it will also alleviate an amount of telegraphing that you may have. Hips/core are sorta like your control center, legs pull power from the ground, arms are like loose hinges that whip in to a solid structure upon reaching the target and then you punch the power through the solid structure. If you can implement this it will not matter as much how tired you get, people don't realize how much arms/shoulders can get in the way when not loose enough. It is the same idea with lifting, it will help for you to loosen the antagonistic muscles, so they do not hinder the muscles doing the lift. Good luck to you Nick, I hope you win your fight.
@@Gong-Fu_Hermit thank you for the detailed advice man. I have always had problems with stiff hips and rotation. I revert to what I know when I am tired which is arm punched (not correct).
You definitely have improved 💪
@JKDTYSONbasic it was almost embarrassing looking back. I thought I knew everything

Footwork...especially when throwing the left hook. Keep hands up also, nice power.
@@anthonypage6060 footwork was the main focus this week. Right before this I was doing ladder drills.
Hi, bro! Are you preparing for a smaller opponent? If not, you should aim a bit higher (minimum own chin level), before you develop wrong habits. Sometimes you drop your right guard when you fire your left hook, especially to the liver. But man, these are some serious bombs you have!!!👊💪😎
@@MAD-w3x no I’m not. I have a bad habit of aiming a bit lower from sparring guys that are shorter than me. I’m 6’2” so it’s rare I have to aim up even though I should be. And yeah I am still working on my defense. It’s getting better but there are still some holes.
You got to do a lot more than that if you're going to play Rocky in the background.
@@kobiecamp1134 lol check the longer version of the video

@@DominicSchrank appreciate that

Nope.
@@natela6787 ?
I’m not shitting on ya. Hope this helps. 1. Keep your hands higher 2. You’re flat footed at times 3. You need more hip rotation; think golf 4. Step into the punch 5. Tuck your elbows 6. Your Punches lack “snap.” 7. Bend your knees more 8. Sit down on your punches 9. Research “power line” (J.Dempsey) 10. Never just punch!! Work on raising the Guard, slip into position, punch, slip out and return to guard. 11. Go to a gym and let a coach help you. 12. Stay motivated. You’ve got promise. 13. Train perfect or don’t train. 14. unlearn what you have learned 15. Don’t quit.
@ appreciate the tips man.
@@natela6787 if I’m being honest I was really just dicking around yesterday. I go to a gym with a coach between 4-5 days a week but I sparred six rounds yesterday and had the day off. I ended up doing 15 rounds between my two bags at the house. This was just a clip of me fooling around with the right trying some stuff out. The two videos I posted with it are the ones where I’m slipping and moving.
