thank you for your support, Ann! i’m finishing up my sophomore year and really love it here. college definitely gets busy and stressful with lots of class work and exams, but OSU is an amazing place. there’s wonderful people that i’ve made great memories with. i can assure you the campus may be big, but there are ways to make it feel like a close-knit smaller community. i’m sure your son is going to enjoy his time here as well - feel free to reach out if either of you have any questions!

Hi! Unfortunately my school didn't do the 6.0 scale so I'm not 100% sure. But, I did have a 3.7/4 so if it's directly proportional then that's a 5.55/6! Hope this helps

Hey Isa! Thanks for reaching out to me about this. These all seem like great initiates that show your professional skills. I'm not an admissions counselor or anything, but I definitely think it will help. With that being said, I highly suggest not doing anything you aren't very interested in or passionate about doing. Do not do all these things for the sole reason of getting into college. Make sure you have the right motives behind your involvement! In terms of financial aid, I do not think you can receive US government-sanctioned money such as grants, but you can still receive scholarships based on your background, grades, and leadership. There are tons of scholarships you can apply for!! Hope this helps.

Yes, I'm very interested in all of these projects that's why I was so insecure about it not being enough ( cause as you can see I'm not a very academic enthusiastic hahaha) I was afraid of not having enough academic-related extracurriculars... but I also told myself that I'm not gonna do anything I'm not excited about and if my reach school doesn't accept me, that was not supposed to happen.

Isa Ribeiro I’m so great that these are things you are passionate about doing! I have seen a lot of people do things they aren’t and just waste that time in high school. But, I really think if you are successful at carrying out these activities, tour grades are not going to be the deciding factor. I still encourage doing your best to keep your GPA and SAT/ACT scores up, but it shouldn’t be everything. Some people made perfect scores and do not participate in extracurricular activities, and they may not get into those more selective schools.
