Everything about the BMW R 1250 R and more ! I own a 2023 BMW R 1250 R and I’m a casual ride looking to share my thoughts about this motorbike and videos of the parts I added (and will add) to the bike. Hope everyone will enjoy the videos and of course non BMW R 1250 R riders are also welcome !

Thanks for sharing your video. I’m looking to buy an r1250r and I was thinking of getting an SC Project exhaust for it as I used to have one on an r9t and I loved it.

They look very thin. Although that is great for the look. Have you ever dropped the bike?

@@lonelybikr They look thin but if they minimize a drop or any damage to the head cylinders then it’s worth it in my opinion. They are not rally grade bars but it’s a touring bike so heavy bulky bars are not necessary.
Good morning I have a 2023 BMW R1250RS. Do you feel that the engine protection bar is strong enough to handle a drop without the thinner pipe bending and compromising the cylinder head? Also if the bike was dropped example like at stop light or gas station when bike drops is there enough protection at the top of the head if the bike rolls over a little bit?I like having the decorative spoiler piece that would need to be removed with other engine protection bars including Wunderlich. @@duanecarlson5008 it’s definitely strong and even if the only way to know is to drop the bike, it’s safe to assume that the cylinder head will suffer much less damage thanks to the bars. Are you certain you can’t keep the spoiler on even with the Wunderlich bars on top ? I could on my R, is the RS different ?

Nice tail bag. The only thing is when you park your bike up, there is no quick release to carry the bag. You got to take the seat off and undo the straps and then put the seat back on to carry the bag when on walk about.
True, this bag is not really meant to be removed. There are better options out there for that purpose with a quick release system.
Looking forward to the update . I hope it is at 91-93db only at 4750
After a few days, it’s a little louder than the SC Project SC1-R. The sound is the same, no difference, same lovely grunt. I can assure you that it’s louder than 93db above 4750rpm, but it remains perfectly acceptable, no need for earplugs. I’m actually quite happy with it, I wanted something a little louder yet not deafening.

Hi can I use this wireless charger with my Ebike Quad Lock Out Front Mount the usb port on the Ebike supports usb 2.1 Amps?
Unfortunately, its becoming bulky with the charger but otherwise, it looks a pretty seamless system.

Yes, I simply had to remove the stock aluminum spacer, even though SC Project’s instructions say to keep it. You’ll figure it out, it’s fairly simple. The exhaust does not move anymore.

I addressed it with a stainless steel fender washer between the muffler bracket and the rubber insulator. The bracket is undersized and without support, it deforms the back side of the rubber bushing. The large washer (same diameter as the bushing) fixes it.

Hello ! Je sors de rodage de mon R12050 triple black nouvellement acquis et ai commandé lors de l'achat de la moto le même slip on que toi. Je ne l'ai pas encore reçu, SC project étant flou sur la date de livraison. Dans ta vidéo, tu dis et nous montre avoir eu une difficulté au montage notamment la fixation qui ne "fit" pas vraiment correctement… As tu trouvé une solution pour avoir un montage correct ? Et si oui, quelle est elle ? Je pensais tout simplement ajouter une entretoise type rondelle acier d'une épaisseur de 3 à 5 millimètres derrière l'ensemble écrou/boulon. Merci par avance Et surtout poste nous d'autres vidéos de cette superbe moto qu'est le R1250R Greeting from Aix en Provence
Merci pour ton message ! J’ai contacté SC Project, ils m’ont envoyé 2 rondelles inox pour résoudre le problème. Ça aide un peu mais ça ne l’a pas complètement réglé. Mais ce n’est pas bien grave, le pot tient bien malgré tout, ça n’a aucun inconvénient. Je pense que c’est la patte qui tient le silencieux sur le dessus qui doit être mal vissée à 1 ou 2 mm près, donc impossible à bien axer. Tu n’auras peut être pas le problème sur le tiens. Envoie un commentaire quand tu auras monté le tiens !
