Looking into getting a fuel kit so i had a question that maybe i missed in this video. Do you know if this is able to be fitted with the late model black box (rats nest)? I dont really want to delete it at this moment.

I’m loving your products, and all the videos you’ve posted, detailing installation. Your company is exactly what our community needs, to keep these beautiful rotaries alive for years to come! I plan on buying this bracket kit to install the condenser in robbing off a donor RX8 that I’m repurposing. Since I bought my FD with the AC components removed from most of the engine bay, other than this bracket kit, I’m assuming I’ll require the FMIC AC line kit, and likely the AC compressor bracket to utilize the RX8 compressor as well. Do I have that about right?

Would it make sense to use a rivnut instead of the thru-bolt on top mount? That way we wouldn't be fighting to insert and hold the bolt from the back side. Nice idea and placement in a car that is small and challenging to place things!

Love this product, now I'll have to find new plastics to replace my bins that had been cut out for the battery. I would recommend to everyone however, that there needs to be a ground cable running from the battery negative to the top of the engine (Star pattern) particularly if you use IGN1A Coils. You'll smoke 'em trying to use the body as a ground path to battery. Guaranteed. If anyone wants to buy me another set of IGN1a coils, I will gladly demonstrate how they fail without a direct ground path to the battery. FD's are bonded together using seam sealant which makes a poor ground path from the rear of the car to the engine bay.

I have a 1990 mazda rx7 that uses freon. Both the high and low pressure access valves are leaking. I have been told that all rx7's have a dealer installed ac system and so there are no part numbers to order. Are the valves standardized for the low and high side so that just the valves can be replaced and do you have these?

Would it really be terribly different for LHD?

Hi, a few questions: 1. What happened to the old receiver drier? 2. Can the old compressor be removed and new rx8 compressor and brackets be installed while the motor is in place? 3. Does the evaporator have to be drained/cleaned before installing and adding new r-134a? 4. If we decide to change our intercooler setup later on (from FMIC to Vmount) what parts are needed to convert this? Thanks!

Thanks for putting this out, this is an amazing resource for the guys trying to restore the AC in their cars. In my RHD '92 Efini, my expansion valve doesn't look like the top left for some reason. It actually looks like the LHD R12 expansion valve with the stepped wall and without the centering nub in the middle. Not really sure what's going on there unless the previous owner was swapping incompatible parts around.

How different is the line routing on a RHD rx7 to a LHD car?

Nice job. Had no idea there was a specific product for cleaning coils; seems to work well. Like that simple green with lemon scent after the initial cleaning. That’s going to be a sweet smelling A/C when you turn it on again in the car. Keep up the great videos.

Thank you! 94-95 with passenger air bag is similar, you do have to unbolt the air bag and move it out of the way to get to the top 10mm nut, this is not hard at all. Remember, Mazda designed this for the AC system to be installed once the car arrived in the US, the whole AC system is designed to install fairly easily without taking everything apart!

Is the process similar for LHD?

Is there any other difference, except the different fluids? Do the RHD and LHD Densos have the same cooling power, or is everything else the same?
