Overlanding to India Episode 23: Wagah and Amritsar
We ride through the crazy traffic past Lahore to the Wagah border crossing between Pakistan and India. It is the only border crossing where you can travel over land from one country to the other.
Though the actual border crossing was an interesting experience itself, the real spectacle is the Wagah border crossing show, which takes place here every day. Just one word for it: Crazy. Judge for yourself!
The nearby city of Amritsar boasts another important place of interest - the Harmandir Sahib - or Golden Temple. I hope I can give you a good impression, it is just magnificent.
