Thanks. I love reading your analyses. Yeah, the Storm Canterlogic line was meant to make viewers feel uncomfortable as it’s meant to represent how far Sunny is willing to go to get her point across. Following up the dramatic montage, I wanted to show how Sunny’s passion for the cause can blind her to her methods, though I made a point to depict that neither she nor Argyle truly understand the harm they’re causing, which foreshadows the arc Sunny goes on later in A New Generation, where she learns by the end to be more personal and honest to the ponies she’s trying to reach. I probably could have added scenes showing Sprout’s side of the story, however seeing as much of this film is meant to be strictly from Hitch’s point of view with a couple exceptions, I intentionally refrained from showing too much outside perspective. The scene between Sunny and Argyle was needed though to further flesh out their relationship.

@@SmokeTheHorsehog Eh, I’ve written one, and that was the April Fools story where he gets superpowers from aliens and goes on a genocidal killing spree, essentially taking over Maretime Bay and murdering everyone. But that’s about it, currently.

​@@AdmiralProducerStudios I guess it's more of my overall appreciation for Sprout, and the characters you have written as the subject for stories have been more to your preferences, but I don't know... I would like to see you do a retake on Sprout and Posey post-movie and post-Chapter 1, respectively. I wanna see how you would rewrite them, if say, you were to reintegrate them back into the series before or during Misty's storyline.

@@SmokeTheHorsehog Well to be fair, I do like Sprout as a character. As a villain or comedic foil, he works perfectly. I personally reject the whole notion of Sprout reformation fics entirely despite how popular they are because I don’t see too many redeeming qualities from him. That’s why I love writing him as either his movie-self or a literal psychopath because movie Sprout was peak for me. He’s still great in Make Your Mark as a comedic foil to the Mane 5 (particularly in Top Remodel), but I could never make him outright sympathetic unless there was a really great story to tell. But Posey, there is definite potential to mine as she came off as a lot more redeemable in my eyes. Sprout could be too, who knows? With this series of fan episodes re-adapting my stories from Fimfiction, maybe I’ll find a place for Sprout in the overall narrative. Since I’m open to making changes to my own source material, the possibilities are endless. I wouldn’t rule it out.

I understand your concern with this, but I hope I can clarify some things. While these stories will be in different mediums, they’ll all be written so audiences can understand the context without having to watch or read the previous work if they get into the universe through a different medium. My big aim is to avoid confusion, and it’ll be of the utmost importance that people know what goes on in every story and can watch or read them without having it feel like “homework.” I’m taking notes from James Gunn’s plan for the DCU that connects live action movies to animated films to TV shows. I think this sort of format can work if written properly, and I’m pretty interested to see if I can try this multiple format plan and have it work. Keep in mind, a lot of this first Chapter is establishing stuff that will be built up across the whole overarching plan, so when I say the “greatest MLP story ever told,” I’m talking about the whole narrative arc I’m planning, not just this one Chapter. I want to establish the characters and story, as well as the grand narrative and have it culminate in the first Admiral Producer movie, which will end in a way that reveals the grand plan that this universe hinges on. Also, the time jump between Guardians and LvC is mainly because the events that happen in that time frame between stories are virtually the same as canon, so it’s not necessary to tell them. The latter is all about the fall of Equestria and how it slowly crumbles from within, so all the context is within that story. Again, I hope this explains stuff.
