I bought one at the mall and showed my chiropractor, he said it was not a real TENS unit. It is more of a muscle stimulator. He was not impressed with the Pinook unit to say the least. This Pinook thing stings and hurts, it does not feel like the one my chiropractor uses at all. I tried to return it, and they absolutely do not take returns. The sales guy lied to me, he said the micro massager was made in the USA, when I got it hone there was a sticker on the back "made in China" I paid $150 but I'll bet the thing only cost them $5 to make The instruction manual is hard to understand. The pads don't last long. They make all kinds of bogus health claims. Stay away from this piece of junk. If you want a real TENS unit get a recommendation from a real health care professional not from some punk at some fly by night kiosk in a mall.

This company is actually under investigation by the FDA for deceptive advertising (they are not FDA approved in spite of what their ads say) and selling medical devices without FDA approval. I bought one, got it home, it wouldn't work, and there is no way to get your money back. In short, it is a scam. Check out the FDA warning letter from June 14, 2012:
