I like this. It's wonderful to have someone to listen to when it doesn't always work tonread myself. Besides I love being read to ever since I was little! Thabk you
I just want to let you know that this is my favorite version of this book. The audiobook versions with music and sound effects don't hold a candle to the warmth of this recording. Thank you for soothing my heart.
Thank you for making these videos. I have to read a book for my book report and I am ahead my grade in my reading level and these videos made it so much easier to understand my book thank you 😊
There must be slight differences in between editions. At 42:15 Cynthia tells Dooley she got 2 brown rabbits and my book says she got 3 brown rabbits. I've noticed other slight changes as well.
I know this is a year old so you may not see this. I am curious, are those your books arranged so nicely beside you? Thank you for sharing your reading with us. I might like to try something similar if we get better internet here next year.
For decades Jan Karon's series have been some of my most beloved books. I was thinking as I am listening to you that sadly Mitford is like a fantasy world. A place I'd love to disappear into. I am widowed and am so happy for Emma to have found love no matter the age he is. I don't think I will ever find a husband suited to me. I am older, disabled and very bookish. I'd love to meet a man like Father Tim or Andrew but they would probably want to travel the world and I like remaining close to my home, in my tiny town off the East Coast. The Mitford stories let me dream.
You're good! I read the first one this August, and I'm hooked...my sister and I chat about the characters like a couple of gossips - catch each other up. It's nice to discover something new and enjoyable in my late 50's [except when I lose track of time and find it's 1:30AM, rather than 11:30PM]. Thank you for sharing this!
Benjamin, you are doing a great job reading "At Home in Mitford" I love Father Tim and I love being read to! Thank you for doing this! It's so much fun!
a lot of book reads sound like the music where the computer makes the singer hit the notes. So I don't often . this was a pleasant surprise. a lovely normal person who is kind enough to read for us, like a friend visiting. thank you.
Thank you so much for these videos, I've been following along in my book while listening and it's been such an enjoyable experience. Hope you are doing well!
I have totally enjoyed the reading of 'At Home In Mitford' ... thank you ... is there a place to send a monetary gift? Also would you consider reading 📚 other books in thar series??

Thank you, great reading
The host does a good job of reading the Mitford book, but the yawning is kind of annoying.
You have a really good voice like a voice actor or movie star from Hollywood days.😊
Thank you much!
Hope you read more soon!❤
Thank you. Very comforting.
Any chance you will consider reading more of this series? I appreciate your work!
Potentially. Home life has been quite busy lately, so I haven't had much time to do read alouds. Glad you enjoy it!

This is charming, unabashed yawns, tea and all. I have done reading out loud. Not as easy as it looks. 😊
Why did it take me so long to find you? 💙💙💙 from Seattle
I never noticed your channel before. Thanks for reading out loud. You look like you're having fun. I can't wait to check out other books you read.
I can't imagine it would be easy reading out loud for over an hour, folks. For those complainers, get on here and try and do better yourself.

Respectfully - "luke in the movies"👍
In audio app, listening to IN THE COMPANY OF OTHERS . This part is so boring it makes my teeth hurt ‼️ I hope it gets better quickly.
thank you that was so well done, I felt like I was in Mitford.
The yawning is distracting but thanks for reading this story.

A Gloxinea is a pretty potted flowering plant, the blossom is long and deep like a lily. Pretty and blooms long.
