Well, I have seen a bunch of these videos now and NO ONE has a clue which way to place the filter into the filter holder. Words like "outward" and "back" have no meaning because there is no reference. It makes the most sense to me to do JUST THE OPPOSITE of this video as it would seem to me that air would blow into the large black carbon media port and out the sides of the filter exiting at the top and bottom ports of the tray. Again this would be with the white cardboard instruction side of the filter placed into the tray so that you cannot read it. But your milage may vary, and you can put the filter in any damn way you want. As the filters are NOT installed at the factory, but come in the paperwork packet usually left in one of the crisper drawers, we have no official guide on how to do this. Apparently many owners do not even install the filters at all and leave the paperwork packet in the drawer or don't even know what it is.

I love it when people make worthless ambiguous videos. You don't have a clue which way the filter is to be placed as outward has no meaning, Likewise the "back of the filter" has no meaning because it is NOT marked on the filter in any way. We have no way of knowing what the term "outward" means. Does it mean outward of the housing you have in you hand or does it mean outward towards the interior of the refrigerator section? Or does it even matter? You have failed us for the last time.

Also, hydrogen peroxide does nothing in this situation - the purpose of using alcohol is not to disinfect (which hydrogen peroxide does) but to CLEAN and DRY the area (alcohol evaporates rapidly, hydrogen peroxide is no better than water at this task).
