What a great feat

Suggest code of ethics Everyone in the team must summit or summit must be diminished by number of people in the team who did not summit. If expedition is 50 people and 10 make summit attempt and 5 summit, each person gets 1/10 summits. There is no glory is someone else fixing rope and hauling oxygen up for a fake summit by a person. Everyone who is paid on the team gets paid on the same scale. Not based on which country they come from. Better still no one should take advantage of the poverty of another and pay them to risk thier life for the fake summit of another. Every team must fix and remove their own rope. Ceiling to the summit on rope not fixed by your team is cheating. No supplemental oxygen. If that is allowed why not a full pressure suit. Then anyone can cake walk up any mountain.

Where did you start? from Skardu? The first american expedition to K2 started there I believe. Someday gonna do this hike up to K2 Base Camp and marvel at the beauty of that Mountain Vista.
