Is it possible, that the game is about processing a Trauma? Like memories is the only true ending. All the other "ends" couldn't end it because it's just her mind. She feels responsable for the death of her family and overthinks what she could have done to change Things. But in fact she can't change anything, so the only way out is accepting and prossesing a childhood Trauma. Does it make any sense to y'all? XD
