Whoever filmed this must have been high. Too many angle switches, too many closeups, etc. Looks like someone put a window screen filter over the performance to be "hip", just looks like trash. Sound sucks, not as raw and clear as the records. Hard to watch. I just want a shot of all 3 dudes playing for 7 minutes and 9 seconds, way better than random shots of microphone stand, drums, amp, etc. Ha ha.

I caught him at the Gaelic club Sydney show during this tour. I’m glad I did, but it wasn’t a comfortable watch. He seemed uneasy and agitated. I wish him peace.

Reading the Wavves interview about being Jay’s rythmn section, he was a massive dick and basically hated everyone but probably a few friends, his band mates were not on his list of friends and he parted on really bad terms with these rad musicians…not at all knocking Jay I fucking love his music, it’s just the way he was!

I discovered Jay probably like 4 months before he died. It was a huge shock. As someone who grew up in the 90s though I got used to having my favorite musicians suddenly die (Cobain, Nowell, etc.)
