How do I connect the dongle when I didn't see any connect button on the keyboard?

Mine is not even typing numbers or any letter , some don’t respond and some turned into shortcuts to other options like if I press M it copies instead etc..

Is there a way to connect my laptop to the PERIDUO-714 keyboard and mouse without using the dongle, and use the Bluetooth of the laptop instead? The dongle has to be put away each time I put the laptop in the bag, and it's been misplaced a few times. It's annoying.
