OUTDATED TECHNOLOGIES & HORRIBLY OVERPRICED !!!! Yes, but that prehistoric tender to loco shaft drive. An indication British outline is still 30 years behind Japanese outline "N" scale technology. And Japanese outline steam from Micro Ace only costs in the region of £50-£70 per loco in Tokyo. Indeed and Jap outline steam models usually include working reversing gear, something not even British "OO" models yet have !!!!

Be sure to never set CV2 and CV3, so your loco will reverse direction at the flip of a switch, like it was running on DC.
Looks nothing like a steaming train more like it is burning itself out
Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but this loco is one of the best smoke fitted models on the market

No it doesn't, this loco was repaired under warranty, as a previous service and repair had failed after a few weeks of running.
