Hey all keep up the great work. Excellent commentary and commitment to details. Add some better background (full mural montage of UCONN players of old/new) and microphones and the quality of your broadcast will dramatically improve. Also address each other by your first names, and not "guys." But overall, I'm so impressed and fully support your channel. As far as the Texas match up, it all boils down to defense. And if UCONN can shut down Kaluma that will probably break their offensive edge. I would put J.Ross or J.Stew on him. They are by far their best peripheral defenders.

Look at some statistics between free-throw disparities. Then you’re going off bashing AK for having one off night shooting. He came into this game probably shooting close to 50% at three. And probably the highest IQ player who runs this offense. And the offense is not the problem with this team. And if you watched more than five games, you would know by enough, Alex shoots deep. Statistically he hits more when he’s further out. He has one off game and you’re talking absolute nonsense. And if you’re gonna have more than one person on your podcast, at least get someone with a contrary review. Some of your takes are horrible. The Dan Hurley bashing out of line. Yes he needs to get his emotions in control at critical times but the officiating was unlike anything I’ve seen in 30 years of watching basketball and would make anyone other than mother Teresa lose their mind. And then to go on and talk about how Kamani should just take off. You guys are out of your minds And the intensity of Danny Hurley is why he is a back-to-back national championship. It’s that DNA to fight with every ounce of energy that gets us where we are as a program. You’re not gonna shut that off with a light switch. Anyway, you guys are normally good but some pretty bad takes in the beginning.

Don’t overlook Memphis? Neither they nor Arizona State looked good in exhibition games. But both have started out well. The Tigers are athletic and shoot the 3 ball well. I’m concerned that Huskies are jelling and not near their late season defensive level.

Solo, AK, Reed and McNeely have proven to be the best players after four bye games. I'd like to see Mahaney get his confidence back Feast Week, which i think is highly possible as his career so far is marked by playing up/down depending on his competition. With all that said, i really think Hass goes back to his 6th man role and we see a lot more of Nowell as season progresses. He just exudes Uconn guard.

Aiden M. is still learning the system. UConn isn't St. Mary's; he's in the big leagues now. Wait until the Big East plays. His frame is small, and he might get bullied by the Big East's physicality.
