First of all, nice gameplay as always. I have 2 questions to ask you. 7:20 I wonder about your mindset if you were to try healing the downed survivor there. Are you usually scared if you have to try? Or do you have a certain key binding for your controller to not drop the pallet? What controller do you use? Which button for dropping pallets, which for healing others, which for using perks like selfcare? Or is it all the same button? If you use perks like self care (and are yourself injured) and want to heal someone from the ground, it switches between using selfcare, healing and dropping the pallet. Mostly first dropping the pallet (which makes me look insane), then I would selfcare (which makes me look selfish) and maybe sometime it would switch to healing the downed survivor. 2. What Software do you use for recording your footage? Obs with reshade on?
i'm only scared if i'm injured... it's all about patience, positioning and timing... i will usually try to get the pallet stun save, if I can't then I will just take a hit and run away. I use OBS with game capture option>filters>add>color correction>gamma+>saturation+
@palletdropper so there is no fool proof solution to the pallet heal scenario, just patience, positioning and I guess luck. Thx anyway. 👍 Also, thanks for sharing the obs settings. You're great!

Can you help me with the pad controls? I just started and want to know how to setup my pad bindings. When i approach a downed survivor next to a pallet and want to heal: which button do I need to press? I always want to heal but instead I am throwing the pallet. Or when I use a perk like self cate and I want to heal someone but I always heal myself or throw a pallet or enter a locker When i want to jump a window I start dismantling a totem nearby.
Oh boy, wait til you play against gimmicky skull merchants who purposely place drones near dropped pallets/vault windows..🤣.. welcome to the console/gamepad experience. I guess.. you just have to deal with all these cheap little gimmicks. I usually always bring a medkit and heal survivors with R2 instead of R1 when they are downed near a pallet.. just be patient and only press R1 when you see the proper action text on screen.. don't button mash..
@palletdropper Yeah, that's what I do now. But it surely ended some of really good runs so far. I was used playing with keyboard and mouse, so I don't understand why buttons on a pad cannot be managed accordingly. Logically it should be possible as in the keybinding option menu the pad buttons can be replaced identically to the keyboard keys... Right?
@@DezorianGuy there is a tab in the start menu where you can customize button layout... you can also customize the gamepad button layout via steam... right click on the game> manage controller layout>edit layout...
i tweak my analog stick movement speed via the steam controller manager ALL the time.

That was one of your best runs. Even dropped a pallet or two. What exactly is that power of Freddy, that red pond on the ground. Does it make you slower? It doesn't seem to do anything to you in this match.
The bloody pond applies hindered.. which slows down your movement speed for a couple seconds.

Ice Needle is better, since it hits 8 times on a full cast, plus Jonahan with the Axe would help a bit with DPS. But for a Raging Fire only boss kill, this was pretty good.
this was very early on in my play-through, didn't have that spell yet 😋
It's available in the shop for $1,000. Maybe you just didn't see it? But oh well, that's fine; it isn't needed for anything in particular, other than the end-game quest to get all of the spells.

in this video i'm practicing drawing the patterns using my mouse & failing miserably 😢.. in order to finish off the bosses in dawn of sorrow you have to draw a pattern on the screen. i'm playing on an emulator so i'm forced to use my mouse instead. it's very tedious and unnecessary (in my opinion). GREAT GAME otherwise.
@palletdropper Yeah, I never understood the purpose or novelty of the NDS touch screen functions in game. They often felt forced. Now you know how I handle my flashlight in dbd, no very precisely, not many saves. I wish I could understand how to use it with a controller.
