what do you make out of bo nix right now?
Thanks for the comment love to discuss rookie QBs. Bo Nix has not impressed me throughout his first few games. He was the guy out of the draft that was praised for his extremely accurate nature but it hasn't translated quite yet to the NFL. Struggles with turnovers and they are bad when they happen. However, he is coming off his best game against the Raiders where he played much more accurately and threw more explosives averaging over 7 yards a completion and he might be on the up. Excited to see what his does this week against the chargers. Thanks for the comment!
Small backs don’t last long in the nfl because of injury
I wouldn't necessarily say that this is the truth when you look at some of the best older backs in the league right now a good amount of them are small guys. You could point to Aaron Jones who has a very similar build to jeanty and the longest-lasting running back OAT Frank Gore stood almost exactly the same height and weight as Jeanty.

Great Player for sure and he had solid longevity.
As you clearly aren’t aware, Jeanty: 1) Jeanty led ALL FBS running backs in receiving yards last year, with over 500 and 5TDs 2) Jeanty actually played slot WR until his senior year of high school (He transferred to a school that had Marvin Mims at outside receiver and I believe the current RB at Oklahoma State, or he at least started his college career there might have transferred) This year, frankly, with the way he’s running, he’s far more effective as a decoy for PA in the passing game, which is how Boise uses him, which is why he has almost no receiving volume. Also, why risk a pass when he’s averaging 10 YPC🤣🤣
I was aware of his usage before yes. I was talking about the context of this year I wished Boise State would use him in the screen game because they do heavily relay on play-action to set up their passing game. But ya he is averaging 10YPC so who cares they are winning games on his back right now.
RG3 had better physical tools, but could not process the game from the pocket. JD5 doesn’t quite have the arm or straight line speed, but has elite football IQ, which typically translates to long term NFL success.
I agree JD has a elite processor and that has translated to an extremely good completion percentage

Rules nowadays favor the offense much more heavily than they did back then but at the same time college football players are younger stronger and the best they have ever been so we also have to take that into account. RGME was nowhere near the player JD is, and that's before you get to the fact that Daniels is humble and a much harder worker than Griffin ever was. He was too busy being an egomaniac and throwing his teammates under the bus. And dude, you're tearing down a player that has the highest completion percentage through 4 games in the history of the league.
I never was critiquing him I graded him out very well this game and he is my ROY Pick as of right now.

I think it is a little disingenuous to say this early because the Commander's system is straightforward right now and to be fair it is extremely effective. RG3 was effective and a very good quarterback reading the defense but I would agree that Jayden Daniels has the potential to be better and already has shown flashes of being better.

I Agree. Like I said he is still young and hasn't played enough games to say anything but his accuracy has been a problem.
The one really bad looking pick got tipped and I think he actually had a shot at completing it if it wasn’t tipped
