Its insane they literally fucked 80% of the xbox’s mod script. I thought I was safe until I realized I can’t access my load order, I can’t do anything in the college of winterhold because they think there is an enemy nearby.

I feel a lot of these add ons and mods have actually ruined the base game. Dawnguard and Last Dragonborn DLC were good. Everything and anything else is just shoddy. Sick of poor quality player houses that want to rob all the trophies out of the Thieves Guild or weapons like Goldbrand and the crappy "everything is in this note" quests for it. Lords Mail looks like it belongs in Oblivion

Does already installed mods from nexus work as normal? Or does creators have to update their mods to the new version? And if we have to wait for a new skse version and such 🥲 It crashed when i tried to run my previous save and i hope its just something minor and not having to reinstall everything again🥲

And Bethesda will also use the information to find out what players are willing to pay, and also what is worth making, just like Blizzard did with Diablo (they released a survey that was supposed to be confidential asking "is ____ worth this value"). Kind of a toxic money grab. They should have just straight up put the best modders on a pay roll, or pay them directly for improving their game per job done. Then the devs can talk back and forth with creators to find what needs to be changed lore wise and what not. Seriously, people only play the game a decade later BECAUSE of mods. The people love the game more than them, just hire them! Modders should just make TES6 sorry Bethesda you dropped the ball

I can't shake the feeling it's going to ruin the experience, if something can be taken advantage of, people will, people were already mad at creation club in the first place because before anniversary edition each one cost too much real life money for too little content and those were approved by Bethesda, now if every asshole can churn out junk and make real cash out of it, we can expect to see a million garbage low to no effort mods for inflated prices absolutely cluttering the mod menus everywhere you turn, and all the big shit will cost that much more, basically sending the message from that point forward "oh you want to enjoy Skyrim because Bethesda got too lazy to improve it themselves? Better be ready to pay hard cash bucko", AND lets not forget for a second we pay for these mods using a conversion currency based in predatory business practice, giving uneven amounts so you never have quite enough or can never spend all of it, encouraging you to both spend more money as well as lose money in the process

It is a fucking problem. They nuked my LO because they're greedy af. They claim to care about pro modders getting paid while Bethesda takes a nice chunk of the profit. They released the same fucking game 40 times and STILL want to milk this bitch dry.

I have a great mod order and my auto update has been off for months. Hopefully Bethesda can quit F-ING around at let modders keep the mods working. Hell just never update the PC version pretty sure most of us would prefer that. The majority of their profit will come from the consoles community any way.

Honestly with full conversions with over 1k plus mods like Skyrim Ultima or Skyrim Nolvus imma stick with that rather than paid shit cause ark has free dlc valve games have free dlc and so forth but paid dlc maid by players results in bullshit like with minecraft bedrock. The market place is filled with direct rip offs of popular mods that are either half baked or broken and because microsoft/mojang profits they wont fix it at all.

If this was like Steam workshop, then yes would had been great, but needs to actually work on all platforms, not break nothing !!! Mods need to remain free and if Todd wants to make official... "creations" then yes charge, but they need to be expansive... Paid mods is bs. Modders act way too entitled and greedy which caused Bethesda in turn to capitalize on that.

i have messed around with modding, simply because it is fun. but i obviously only made some small things, like retextures, making the falkreath bard a skeleton etc. so i can‘t really speak for modders who actually know what they are doing. i could not deal with the stress of creating a paid mod. because you make a small mistake and you will get accused of trying to scam people. but that is just me.

This is only relevant for mods that go through their own mod ui. Nexus mods are not affected by this. Before this update the difference in numbers of mods between what is available between those two places was huuuge. It's going to sky rocket after this. And there you can choose to support modders or not.

My friend who paid 40 for the story still had to pay for the 3 missions.

As many people bash on this game, I think this season is pretty great so far. I'm a huge fan of the lore so the story missions were awesome despite it being downgraded from what it was supposed to be.

I'm so excited for this to come out. Since it's in early development who knows what will be in the game. Especially for dlc. Been a fan of the games since Budokai 2 on the PlayStation 2 and there was one on the GameCube I can't remember the name of, it was a lot like an rpg similar to kakarot. I never could get good at FighterZ either so this will be so amazing to enjoy modern dragon ball fighting without a monotonous storyline buying literally everything that's above super Saiyan in terms of looks and story, then again like you said we don't know how much they will monetize but hopefully not half the game like FighterZ

I’m happy they made Joel less of a hard ass. He’s still a tough son of a b. But the game leaves you to believe that Joel didn’t deserve his comeuppance in part 2 . Yes it is comeuppance because he killed alot of people who was on the other side on the same coin he’s on ( fireflies)
