That's Robin Taylor Zander. He's toured with them for a while now. He play's rhythm guitar, and fills in for whoever is sick...he's played drums, lead guitar, bass for Cheap Trick in the past, and sings lead on a couple songs. He's an amazing singer (Sounds like his dad) and well rounded musician.
One of the greatest drummers alive. Bun E. would be proud!
God last time I saw them live was about 88 so yeah just 35 years ago wow

Saw cheap trick in 83 or 84 in little old Montevallo Alabama. Im 49 now, taking my wife and 17 year old son to see them tonight in Albertville Al at the Amphitheater.....didnt even know Alville had an amphitheater. EXCITED

I was going to go to the concert starting right now but I couldn't find Mike and.all the.other scalpers were sold out.

Damn, I still miss Buns, but this is pretty much a big ol family now and I'm loving it. How the hell do Robin and his kid pretty much sound identical. He can essentially harmonize with himself now. 😂
These bands are so dumb to avoid places like Idaho, Wyoming and Montana. They'd sell out big venues because no one ever comes through and folks are starved for these kinds of acts....but whatever...keep playing to bush league rooms....

I believe so. I saw them in May & he was with them. He has filled-in for every band member, except for his dad, so far.
@@johnsoos6907 Actually I believe he is what you might call a "permananent touring musician" as is Daxx Nielsen. This is probably due to the legal dispute/settlement with Bun E, after which they decided to remain a trio and not have a permanent drummer.

The video was taken with an iPhone 13. The trick is that I made my own selfie stick that was just long enough to hold in the palm of my hand. Much more comfortable than trying to hold it the whole time. Smother panning too.

Thank you for this vid: the seats are pretty dang good, as I (re-)discover nearly every year I pop up top for quals. But it's so quiet & reserved & & &... idk man, it's hard to describe: even in my aged years, it's not as fun as T4 lol. 🤷♂ Still, That was Indy... That was May. 🏁

I’ve been to hundreds of races.. short tracks, intermediates, road courses, dirts, figure 8 demo, Iroc, SRX, NASCAR, INDYCAR…. Indy is just… different. It’s 100% worth it
