How is this not true? Jake Fischer reported when we cut Lonnie Walker IV the Celtics were looking to move Jaden Springer. That’s is a fact I presented here. Could the Celtics still be looking to move a player in Springer who does not play that is on his last year of his deal which makes him the most tradable, while the Celtics are in the 2nd apron and need to save money? Yes. Did I full heartedly say in this video this was a “for sure thing or this was 100% happening”, No. So how is this “NOT true”? This is an opinion based video in which if you watched the whole thing you’d hear me say the Celtics should NOT do this trade at all and that keeping Springer would be better. Don’t just read titles and assume things - Bruce

@CelticsDigest Because there is a certain station that l watch for news that have been known for their accuracy.You will not get me to tell you who l watch for Boston news.They have not reported it.l also did a search engine search.l could not find anything to back it up.

@@TheRobversion1 this would be awesome then. I’m not too familiar with his game, but his numbers sound ridiculous from an efficiency standpoint. How tall is this guy and is he a good defender? I agree big wings can help a lot. But you just said they would want pics so we would have to give up pics to get rid of springer. We aren’t gonna receive pics a player for Springer. We would probably just get like a second round.

@mathewsousa3915 coffey is a good shooter. Low volume, good efficiency. Semi-athletic. Meh defender. Think brissett. Hes 6'7". Basically, think of walsh but he can make 3s. We wont get anything aside from coffey. It would be picks + springer for coffey. Coffey is close to being a 10 ppg scorer on low volume. Heres the most likely trade: BOS gets: coffey LAC gets: springer, 2025 2nd rd pick, 2026 2nd rd pick

Picks. They dont have picks. Coffey is also expiring. The clippers dont want to pay him alot of money for an extension hence their extension talks in the offseason breaking down. This gets them something for coffey before he walks for nothing. Springer is also an expiring but is more likely to accept a minimum extension from them (which the Cs cant afford due to 2 rookies coming in next year unless brad trades the picks). I think the Cs would be willing to give up 2 2nds to rent coffey.

@@TheRobversion1 yes if we are willing to give them I agree. I don’t know if it’s worth it though. What do you think? Do you think we should give pics to get rid of springer? Do we really need it? These are legitimate questions. I’m just curious your opinion.

@@mathewsousa3915 i think its worth it. Another athletic wing outside of the Js, would help when 1 of the 2 needs to sit. I dont mind giving 2 2nds for coffey. Just no 1sts. An expiring isnt worth a 1st. As to whether we need it? No. Kps coming back. But tbh i'd rather a proven vet like coffey over 2nd rd rookies and springer.

@ ok ya I agree, I wouldn’t want to give up any firsts either but a few seconds for a fine player seems worth it. Is he on a 1 year deal or is he locked up?

@mathewsousa3915 expiring. thats why only 2nds. Its a rental. We have tons of 2nds. Giving up 2025 + either 2026 or 2027 should be more than enough.

yup.. nobody wants to give up anything for him right now. especially being an expiring. Coffey is one of those few plausible trades as hes also an expiring and the clippers arent keen to extend him.

Amen brother he just played a game where he got four steals one block and shot3/5 from deep in the euro league. But we got springer riding the bench for double the price lol

@@notmyname9625 it’s not too expensive if they trade springer… it’s less expensive. They save about 7 million in tax…. I’ve had this arguments with so many people it would be cheaper!!!!!!!! if they could find someone to take Springer, that’s the problem. There’s been rumors that they have been shopping Springer.

Jason Tatum makin a move like that is tellin you the WNBA is going to grow… not because of Caitlin Clark I agree, she really showed her true self in the All Star game she’s not that player to put the WNBA on their back. When the All Star game over and it exposed her, the league made shifts to make it look like she was dominating… she was not! These college women that will enter the W is the WNBA future… it will finally grow… with proper marketing of all players. If I had Tatum’s money, I wouldn waste time i will buy my team now and prepare to build the new team for Dec 17, 2025

Im not convinced. They look great regardless of who they been playing dont get me wrong. I still got them at number 2 but they have had arguably the easiest schedule in the east so far and bucks have had arguably the hardest. I dont put much stock in the W-L records so far. Cleveland does certainly pass the eye test tho. They been looking amazing. Cavs, Celtics and Pacers are def the 3 best in the east so that part is relatively accurate but i personally think it will end with celtics having another dominant season while cavs and pacers have to fight for second. I think the rest of the standings aren’t really representative of how they will look going forward and are basically a toss up rn.

@@notmyname9625idk that’s very speculative, I respect your opinion, I think they are more of a threat than we are realizing, size, speed, verticality, defense, not sure how garland has been shooting but if him and okoro can find a decent 3 point shot they are a real problem if healthy come the offense. Mobley and Allen are just going to improve too

@@mathewsousa3915 i’d say average moreso than easy but i agree it hasnt been a very tough schedule for us yet either. The only two match ups i saw being real challenges for us in the schedule so far were the two games we lost so you’re not wrong but it was definitely still tougher than the cavs and easier than the bucks so my point still stands

Timelord had knee problems from the start, that's why he slid all the way to us in the draft in the first place. I think Neemias doesn't look injury prone at all, it's his 4th year in the league already... Also I love Neemias but Timelord was a different kind of beast we was super athletic (and smaller btw Neemy is a legit 7 footer)

No it's not. RW had serious verifiable leg issues in junior high school. There is a reason that RW3, a lottery-level talent, dropped out of the top five all the way down to the 27th pick. Had Danny not stockpiled more draft picks than he could possibly utilize, and thus had some extra picks on which he could shoot for the moon, RW3, BECAUSE OF HIS KNOWN INJURY/HEALTH ISSUES, would have otherwise dropped to round 2, and maybe all the way out of the draft. Now his lack of lower body strength, and his personal refusal to play a more controlled style, certainly increased his volume of injuries, but his core health issues were well known long before Danny took the flyer on him.

I love Neemias but Tillman can space the floor and he can play as the 2nd big.. He played well in the finals guarding Luka so I think he can be kept. But I still think we are too thin in the wings, we need a Brissett type of player

@miguelbraz2629 at the moment, hes not spacing anything. Nor is he scoring inside, rebounding at a high rate or defending well. I agree he has his uses. My post was merely to share: 1. hes the 5th big now. Not 3rd like last year. 2. If he continues to stay like this and asks for a pricey extension next year, it wouldnt be so bad for Brad to let him walk. Agreed on needing another wing. I want another wing that we can throw alley opps to. An athletic one. Ideally with a passable jumper. One that i've wanted to trade springer and a pick for is keon ellis from the kings. If Queta ever shoots a jumper on this team that is stacked with premium-paid jump shooters, he will IMMEIDATELY be back on the bench. And if he ever does move up in contract status and is allowed to participate in the offense as a scorer, he will be earning his living in the paint, where he is unstoppable, and not wandering around away from the basket utilizing a non-existent skill by taking shots that are to be taken by superior shooters with superior contracts.
