We love this band c&J's Central pub poniatowski wi just 5 miles from where the guys played there gigs in Athens wi miss em
Love. the song❤️
Blast from the past
Went to house parties in wausau and they were there
Such a great Midwest 80s band
They should have made it BIG! David Saindon has the best voice EVER!
O
Definitely has that Rare Bird sound.
One ballad from the " highest level"
Just as cheesy as I remember it

I don't know if is the same song sung by Duwetto - It's not so easy ( 1983 ).
Very good song 👍🏻
Mickey Feat, bassist.....same guy who was in David Gilmour's backing band on his "About Face" tour...
A fantastic live vocal band.
Just an 80s kid’s kid who loves this band. My dad showed me them and some of my favorite memories are of us dancing to Airkraft cranked all the way up. 🤘🏻🤘🏻
There are better tracks on the record, they never made because there was too much Punk around at this time, and most music papers of the time, were not interested in new groups unless there was lot money spent on advertising and they would not play live. Also most DJ's would never play it becuse Acrobat records would not give them any payments etc.
Rest in peace, Alan Merrill
Merrill just died of COVID-19; RIP
Runner we're formed from the break up of Rare Bird who were a fantastic band There last album (Rare Bird - Born Again) was very much in the same mould as this Runner album Steve Gould vocalist with both bands.
This will create romance for you! Worked for me. Still married after 34 years! Great band.
Great album and band. Underrated, because they folded so quick, and never performed live. Look up the members bio's though, they are loaded with talent. Alan Merrill, who wrote and sang this, also co wrote I love rock and roll with the Arrows. He just died from the Virus sadly. Good talent, good guy.
Rip Mr Merrill. 😢
It's a serious crime that this band only recorded one album they should be locked up for six months and made to record another!
These early independent albums are better than the major label one!
awesome song!!
Beautiful voice
Steve Gould a major talent. I loved his work in Rare Bird.
Great KSHE 95 Classic , Thank You :) QC
These guys along with a bunch of other groups were introduced to me in the late 70s. I had just separated from my wife and lost all of my music, so had to start over. A very helpful lady at the "record shop" in Biloxi, MS suggested several groups I had never heard before. She made me a deal that if I bought anything she suggested and was not pleased she would take it back in trade for something else. Of all the suggested artist NOT one got returned. Those were the days. Had I not met her I would have missed a lot of really good music.
A truly great album.
That i found this song, its a mirracle, coz i looked my whole life for it and now i found it,since the 70´s
♥
fantastic ♥
great band
It don't get any better
This is one of my all time favorite songs along with Truely from within on this same album that by the way I bought. In the80's in a bargains bin for $1.00. It's amazing what you can find in the music world if you're willing to look, and ever since then I have found some of the best music you never heard now I do my searching right hear on RUclips as I'm sure most if not all of you are doing the same and get that same rush when you find that band and say to yourself who the hell are these guys there great happy hunting
Bought mine for £0.50 in Sunderland bargain bin in mid 80's. Wonderful album.
Steve /gould was there lead singer however I to enjoyed merrill's voice and writing
Steve/Gould was the lead singer.sorry for the type O
My God....these guys were the soundtrack to my youth. I grew up in central WI and these guys were the biggest thing we had to come out of our state at the time. My uncle went to high school with the lead singer and remained friends, so I felt like 2 degrees of separation to David Saindon fame was glowing on my prideful rear at the time...LOL. I've not heard this song in a decade, easily. Man, the memories.
The Runner bass player is now with the Dire Straits!
These guys were masters of music. So sad they were one album wonders. I Got the album in the later seventy's .... in the new release rack. Had over 600 vinyls and was always trying new stuff out. This was the best new release pick ever!!!!!
GOD as MY Witness..This is MY song...
