How do I test this if there’s not a traditional gas cap?
Fuck the haters 5 th gear pinned for 5000 miles now, on the highway all the time drafting helps
Heck yeah thats whats up. Im wanting one so I'm looking at a bunch of videos. I like your truck. I have a 1978 custom deluxe 10 . Heavy half ton. It's my first truck. And the xr 150 will be my first bike. 🎉. It's a celebration
Was you running it with no oil. But yes that’s loud
can I get that list too
Why did you delete the thermostat?
Bought one in mar of 24,put 3,000 miles on it and no problems and it will top out around 60 mph
When I bought my F150 5.0 new with 12 miles on it. It now has 184,000 and drives the same as it did when it was new. I've asked ford mechanics and people with their own shop.. they all said it's normal? It's always done it.... I dunno, but im still rollin.
Where are you getting the reserve tank is .66 gal? I'm looking on Hondas website and it says .9 gal for the reserve
"Just pop your cab off"😂
I have this bike it’s awesome
I wish I could buy one but I refuse to pay dealer mark up
What it does to transmition delete the thermostat ?
See Prius’s with bbs wheels cruising in socal all the time
What about the oil filter?
I would say it’s really based on driving style maybe hypermilling technical driving on top of basic driving skills along with running non ethanol 93 octane my Honda 250x atv I had in high school when I would ride it the mileage range would change drastically on the style of riding I was doing when I went out for a day for instance jake breaking uses more fuel compared to holding the clutch in and letting the motor set idling while freely costing do to the suction that is applied to the carb
Is there a way to diagnose this without pulling all the injectors?
What size is the hose. 3/8 or 1/2
Looks good to me
Dammit 😂
This is what a real man looks like. Not these liberal freaks that want to be girls. God bless you brother 🇺🇸 🦅 💥
How are the tacos there?
i don't see the problem here
Liked the video. Good hearing that you touched on all the reasons I bought this bike.
Ill buy it
How is rolling that plastic rear bumper going for you?
What about the clicking sound from the engine? I have that problem is new bike :(
If anyone is wondering he said "OK" 16 times.
How many like I saids?
Its huffing for oil and dying
Awesome video. Wondering top speed with big bore and carburetor??
This bike was brought over from the global market recently (to America) and has been around for a while (around 10 years from my understanding). Only in America are you having regularly 200+lbs men using these bikes. Most men, globally, are around 160lbs at a healthy/lean weight. That's the general audience these bikes are designed around. So, if you are on the bigger side given that this is a globally sold motorcycle... you are pushing it for all it is worth. Just something to keep in mind. Overall, it's a Honda and a solid motorcycle. It'll take a bruising and handle most of what is thrown at it. This bike is running around $4k out the door in Florida. Great overview video. Thanks for sharing!
If you still notice high oil usage after it's broken in check your crank case vent tube for oil . The tube and angle, as well as length, don't allow the oil to separate from the air adequately, so a longer vent tube will allow the oil to drain back into the case.
I've heard that if you go from a 17 to a 16 tooth sprocket on the motor, it will take away the vibration.
Oil filter???
Дизельное масло в мотоцикл? Интересно.
I have had mine a year, bought new in florence SC . I had no expectations of grandeur or high speed, but the midrange was lacking. i fit a 200cc piston/cyl (off ebay) w a cam w a midrange profile (came w the kit) , and a 26mm round slide NIBBI carb bought seperately. removed the emissions stuff. I tried an aftermarket CRF150 exhaust but was just unnecessarily loud and really didn't give any gain, so back to stock w the spark arrestor removed.. Had rebel gears make up a 2t smaller rear sprocket ad it will pull it just fine w out revving the snot out of the motor at 60, and gets there much quicker. I've hit 67 flatland, no bs no drafting gps verified and im 210 lbs in gear. I have a slew of other bikes, most are much bigger, but this is exactly what i got it for. commuting and no drama, easy flickable. I think more power could be had w a different ignition curve and def larger valves in the head but i'm happy where it is, great for commuting for me and throwing on the rail and taking places as its decent 2 up for short rides. Have had zero quality issues with it and have been riding/wrenching on bikes for well over 3 decades, it's a good one. This is a good review for sure, aligns with what i thought when mine was new and all stock.
Bro i love your Honda xr
Might have been mentioned before, but I am a 6 foot tall cornfed fella and I'm a tad north of 300 lbs and it pulls me around fine. I got a video on my channel tooling around a bit
Yeah, I don’t even get near that much but it’s still OK but it ain’t no 120 miles a gallon Lol
You should always re-do fork, wheels, and exhaust bolts they are in most cases assembled by apprentices at the dealership and the kids don't care they are mostly thinking about the line they gonna come up with to land their crush after work, so yeah they are always wrong oh and to up exhaust pipes with exhaust hot after a long ride so they seat expanded reducing tension on the brackets (you know the brackets crack) there is a reason why they do... ...because the kid is thinking of his one liner puch line and just slapping your bike together you know how it goes we've all been kids once or twice...
Super smart to include this rack on an economy bike!
I thought I was the first person to put a wideband on my XR150. Guess I was wrong. Just now coming across the video even though I’ve been searching lol. I was told to put the bung after the heat shield because it’s not supposed to go in a bend. I’m getting ready to wire it up today.
These look like great little bikes for the money.
Thx for the vid. Any oil consumption?
Not sure if anyone said it already, could drop a tooth on front sprocket to get to that higher RPM range. Doesn’t shorten the gears that much and makes your final gear way more usable hitting your 62 easier. Did it on my ‘23 Grom; no regrets!
That motorcycle remind me of the yamaha 125 DT.
Mine was difficult to run at first. Changed my main jet to 110 and pilot jet to 38. Not only did it improve performance substantially but fires right up without choke regardless of temperatures. FYI elevation is 5000ft where I am at. And that does make a difference. Sea level upto 2500ft would go to 115 main and keep pilot at 38.
mine has it too. I aint buying it is normal. it sounds like low oil / low oil pressure in top end at low rpms
Honda probably forgot to convert from kilometers.
Good review. Why do folk hide their tags on YT and then hit the road where everyone can see it. Makes no matter to me just a curiosity
