Idk why, but beta builds fascinate me quite a bit. I also grew up playing the finalized version of this game on mega collection, so it's neat visiting early versions. Specifically I'm playing the Simon Wai prototype, which got it's name from the person who founded the rom. Sonic is property of Sega, no copyright harm is intended.

What happened to the sound? It stopped halfway through the video. And then comes back at the end of the video. But then at the actual end of the video, the tape starts glitching a lot.
Part of the audio is missing due to the background music of that part getting the video blocked worldwide back in 2019.
