Drive-In Saturday Night Title Sequence

Retro-style title sequence for Drive-in Saturday Night.
but Dr. No from 1962 was PG
As seen in the 1976 cult classic "Drive-In", now available on MOD DVD from the Sony Pictures Choice Collection.
GP actually stood for "General Patronage". It was changed to PG in 1972 to reflect Parental Guidance.
gp replaced m.
There were two brands of shrimp rolls available at drive-ins in the '50s; "Flavos", and "Chung's".
Hank Simms is the announcer.
He's either from mars or new jersey
His tail kicks ass!
sometimes i kind of find the mpaa a bit confusing
Love this one. It played all the time during intermission at the Surf and Sand drive-in in Virginia Beach back in the early 1970s. Even then I thought it was funny and ridiculous.
Buy the time I got back to the car with all this stuff my ice-cream would be melted.
NO DESPOST MY ARCHURELLTA
lol - classic!
I hate the MPAA, but i love that music
Circa 1970-72. That was when the "GP" rating was in use. It changed to "PG" in 1972, because it was mistaken to mean "General Public". Prior to 1970, it was known as "M" (suggested for mature audiences); many mistakenly thought that "M" meant "adults only".
