My YM1700 is “running away” after starting and my issue is somewhere around here. I think something may be hung up instead of redoing adjustment cause the tractor ran fine before being set up, was anything in yours seized up or just needed adjusting?

Rick, Great video, I had watched the one Matt made, which was good also. The only thing about his was, that I had no idea where the shaft with the dimple was, you cleared that up. Sorry it cost you $500 to do it! I have a little 850 JD and have no problem at all with the governor on it, I also have a Kioti dk35 that the governor has never worked properly and none of the dealers seem to know how to fix it. I thought I might be able to glean some ideas from watching the JD videos.

Thanks for simplifying this process, the manual had me going in circles and fighting the runaway issue for what seemed like days. Last guy that owned mine apparently thought spray foam and plaster made emergency stop leak, which was "fun" to clean out of everything and somehow didn't manage to scrap the engine...

Will that keep one from running

I have been dealing with this for 2 months now…… I bought new injectors new bearing wet sleeves ….. I crossed threaded the screw on the metal injector line bought new line …. IT’s running but smokes and full throttle…. Slow as a turtle!!! But I’m going to get it!!!!!!!! Might take me a few more cuss words and another birthday ha!! But I’m going to get it!! Thank you sooo much for the video
