Another great video, I can't believe you don't have more subs
wait, why does the luminous segment sound so weird
I copy pasted it from one of my other videos lmao
Not too big on puzzle games, or even puzzles. But as always a joy to learn more from you!
You’re getting closer to 1k subs!!!!
I know!!! I'm really hoping to hit it before the end of the year! Kind of hoping this video gives me that final push lol
@@glazestelar I think you should do a festive video game video, that may help
There are 38 days left until Christmas
yet another PEAK glazestalar upload tetris is so peak...
Been working on this video on and off for a few months now. Very happy to finally have it all figured out. (Things got pretty rough in the writters room lol) anyway I hope you all enjoy. I'm really proud of this one
16:23; What about when Spyro The Dragon (a character remarkably similar to Sonic in the personality department) opens his mouth? Do you also want to dub the volume then too?
They timed it poorly, not long before they had Mania which was a tie in to Forces story on how classic sonic showed up to Forces and blew it out of the water gameplay wise on top of it. AND IT WASN'T EVEN FROM THE SAME TEAM. IT WAS MADE BY FANS. So that made the fanbase collectively angrier than they would of been to just a meh release. Now fans when they play mania are reminded of Forces when they get to Mania ending and left with a bitter taste.
I know you’re joking, but the irony of making fun of anime for being nerdy or something you would only be into if you’re a “red flag” or whatever while simultaneously uploading a breakdown of a video game on a youtube channel dedicated to doing just that is CRAZY.
What about rhythm thief p
That part about the classics not having any story though. If you were actually paying attention, they still had a narrative throughline and a few character moments here and there. That IGN-styled caricaturization of "the best Sonic games had no story" is... disgraceful to say the least.
You know what? You're right. That's my bad. A more accurate statement would have been "Classic sonic games had far more downplayed storylines that took a major backseat to gameplay, largely due to hardware limitations and a genre that doesn't easily or unintrusively lend itself to complex or explicit storytelling. And while some of the best sonic games also had great stories, they are rarely the primary focus or even a major selling point. With most fan favorite Sonic games capturing the audience's love through gameplay alone. And with few exceptions, (primarily the adventure games) the Sonic franchise rarely manages to boast stories that could be considered amongst the 'greats' of the medium even if they never fail to entertain." Bit of a mouthful though lol
Make more vids like this its fire
How many days left until christmas?
80 i think
Speaking of Virtua Fighter being in almost every game since 5, and the recycled content, you may know that these games recycle animations, and sometimes movesets from Virtua Fighter games.
I just beat Kurohyou, it only has a crane game. Can’t say anything about the second one though, also they both have English patches with easily available ISO’s and PSP emulators are on most platforms, so go play them!
My biggest problem with kiwami ones arcade is that the virtua fighter machines are RIGHT THERE and you cant play them
Pls make a DLC tier list, including even the most ridiculous ones like the "karaoke" from Like a Dragon or paying for items 😅
I listened to this video whilst grinding away through Infinite Wealths big swell dungeon. Very good stuff, i like your humor 😃👍
That dungeon is so awesome. Infinite Wealth is so peak
10:03 *"We are the Yakuza 4."* _(The selfish deed is not freedom)_
i feel like mesuking is really overhated, i agree that the nudity is really unnecessary (for me it kind of fades into the background but its pretty bad), but the game it self is not bad. Its way better than just regular rock paper scissor because of the cards and different stats. Makes it way more strategic and i feel like that goes over most peoples heads because they assume its just random. If im playing against someone who is inexperienced at the game they will probably just spam their most powerful attack and hope you lose, if im playing against someone who kind of knows what they are doing theyll probably play the counter to my best card and so on
You know what? You convinced me. I'm gonna give mezuking another chance if i ever replay kiwami
I Got interested in Virtua Fighter thanks to Yakuza
Based
Finally, the perfect video to watch in a depressed haze where I just need to 10% concentrate while staring into the middle distance.
That's exactly what i make these videos for
@@glazestelar It was perfect
Sonic fighters being only on PC because of Lost Judgement is very funny to me
IW is weird because a few of the side games like crazy delivery are based on arcade games (very clearly crazy taxi)
Yeah this is true. Infinite Wealth blows my mind because it has the largest and most diverse and creative library of side content but it also only has 3 arcade games
your voice annoys me
YOU MISSED FIST OF THE NORTH STAR.
Lost Judgement is worthy of S tier
Hello and welcome to the penultimate video of Sega September 2024: The annual Yakuza video (like I didn't already talk about Yakuza in 3 other videos this year). Sorry it cam out late, this video was a lot of work. Let's hope it does well this time lol. Anyway next week's video will be the final one of the month. I hope you'll all join me for the finale
Meow hiiiii awesome video yayyyyy
There are 93 days left until Christmas
Thanks
The most important tier list for this series.
well dont you guess how i treat mirai over diva (theyre different rhythm games)
I love this game the new animations make it so much more fun
I love rhtyhm games sm and my first rhythm game was Project Diva megamix honestly before that I barely had any knowledge of vocaloid or rhythm games in general but that fr changed my life like I love rhythm games sm now and Im so glad I was able to get project diva in the past bc rhythm games are so fun and have turned into a huge comfort for me also Tsukasa Tenma mention 7:46 PANDEMONIUM MENTION 8:45 ?$;$;?
There are 101 days left until Christmas
Thank you all for joining me for the second week of Sega September. I had a lot of fun making this stupid video and I hope you all enjoyed it. Also I have decided that all Sega September uploads will be moved back one day because I just can not get them out by Saturday lol. The expected upload topics and dates are 9/8 Rhythm Games 9/15 Puyo Puyo Tetris 9/22 Yakuza 9/29 Sonic The Hedgehog All dates and topics are subject to change if I come up with better ideas, take too long to edit, or just give up.
5:54 peak jumpscare
Fun video! And honestly, SEGA's had so many rhythm games you could make a whole second video if you wanted to. I've seen some love for Rhythm Thief, maimai, CHUNITHM and ONGEKI, but there's even more weird stuff from the 90's. SEGA just barely got Digital Dance Mix out on the Saturn before DDR came out, but then when KONAMI hit big with that, SEGA told a bunch of its development teams to make rhythm games to ride the trend. Samba de Amigo and Space Channel 5 were the big ones to come out of that, but there's a couple people who remember Crackin' DJ (from the developers of Crazy Taxi), which was a little late to the trend since its producer wasn't really that interested in it. Crackin' DJ was the first game Mitsuharu Fukuyama (who composed Bakamitai) worked on. There were also a couple really obscure mechanical rhythm games. Mograpper was a whack a Mole rhythm game, and Flash Beats was a machine that used tubes that would have light travel through them to the beat, and there's some videos of people playing essentially rhythm game tennis with it. There was Miracle Girls Festival in 2015 that had a lot of songs from cute ensemble girls cast anime, and SEGA did Project 575, which was them making completely original VOCALOIDS to use in games and anime. The sound director for both of those games was Naofumi Hataya, who also did Space Channel 5 and Samba de Amigo: Party Central.
"because vocaloid fans are INSANE," as a fan of 8 years now. uh. can confirm
SPACE CHANNEL 5 CONTENT
It’s so refreshing seeing a general rhythm game video that doesn’t dunk on Project SEKAI. It’s one of the best mobile rhythm game experiences out there! (Ignoring the gambling haha)
project sekai mentioned, rhythm thief missed
I like how you speak silly guy, I’ll give sub👍 I’m still waiting to go to miku expo in London djdjdjjdks
wow talking about SEGA's rhythm games and not even gonna touch the GekiChuMai arcade games? fake ass fan 💅💅 /s
the pain and shame we all feel when the megamix is chosen to represent the project diva series... no shade to the creator of the video, who did a great job, but come one... megamix is EASILY the worst project diva game to ever be released, it is the most acessible, for sure, but it is still the one with the worst visuals, almost no new content and very overpriced. sorry for nagging so much, but it's infurating what sega is doing with the franchise
Yeah no i completely agree with you but the only other project diva games I have are on PS3 and Vita and unfortunately neither system is easy to get footage on. I dont even own megamix. I borrowed this copy
@@glazestelar i understand, how I said, this is no shade to your or the video! Nowadays, Megamix really is the easier and almost only choice, and that's what sucks the most. Keep the great job dude!!
Thank you and I agree. I would do anything for a new, true to form, project diva game. But it's probably never gonna happen now
A PJSK MENTION?!?
Based on my memory I say we’re on 7 Hatsune Miku project diva games. 7 is a guess it’s possibly 8
